Stuck in my brain - Chase Atlantic
Naya
I push Nikhil out of my way to leave my room. Gosh he's annoying. “Looks like I've stuck a nerve.”he smirks. I ignore him and make my way downstairs where its empty as usual. I open the fridge and get out some juice. “Stella what is Nikhil doing here?” I ask pouring juice into a cup. “Anthony has assigned him to watch you as you do your day's activities.” she answers. Great. I stare at the juice I just poured and pour it back into the jug. “Am I allowed to leave the house?” I ask. “No, it's orders from the captain.” answers Nikhil coldly. “Excuse me? I'm old enough to take care of myself.” I argue. His brown eyes go cold. “I know but we can't have you out there having small accidents. You and I both know that those small accidents are very much capable of hurting someone.” he answers. You know instead of everybody judging me, they could help me but no. I'm a monster. I'm the bad guy. No can listen to me. I nod at
Nikhil's words and go to the balcony. Naya calm down, you don't need this affect you. His words don't mean anything to you. I sigh and exhale.
He's being rude and mean. I mean we've never really liked each other. Till this day we still don't but I get along with his sister Roshni. Guess what? Tomorrow's my birthday. I'm not excited but I really don't except much from my family. A happy birthday and hug us more than okay. I understand they're busy. Plus I'm going to have prom in a week I think so I'm saving up for a dress. I don't want to put pressure on my parents. They're most probably angry with me anyways about the little accident.“Nikhil, can I have your sister's number?” I ask politely. “Why?” he asks back. “I want to talk to her?” I answer. “About?” he asks again. I roll my eyes. “You don't need to know. Please just give me Roshni's number.” I say. He shakes his head, is he serious right now? Oh my goodness. “Why don't you want to give me Roshni's number?” I ask. “Because I don't want to and please stop annoying me.” he rudely answers.
Excuse me?! “I'm annoying?” I fume. He nods playfully. “Really at least I didn't get an F- for Spanish.” I rant. He chuckles, “Says the girl who is being replaced by me.” he answers. Wow he had nothing better than that. I roll my eyes and go to my room. Waste of time, energy and air.
