Blurry - Neoni

Naya

Dinner was as usual. Everyone was just talking about work. What was I going to say? I did nothing because that's the truth. Then my mom will give me a lecture on being a “girl”. I didn't need that so I kept quiet the whole time. When dinner was over I went to my room. My mom comes into my room. She  sits next to me on the bed. “Hey Naya. How are feeling? You were very quiet today. You look tired.” she says.

“I am tired, I guess.” I answer lowly. I don't want to talk to her. “Of what exactly? Sitting around and doing nothing? Just arguing with Nikhil? You're being childish. And it's good that we took you off the team. First it was your little accident in the training room and now your outburst on Nikhil. Naya I didn't raise you to be like this. If this behavior continues, you'll be completely off the team. You owe Nikhil an apology. He now has more pressure. He has to play two roles. You should be grateful to him. Change your attitude Naya. I'm disappointed in you. You're slowly becoming a disappointment, don't ruin things for yourself.” she ranted. I quietly listened to her. “I'm sorry mom.

I'll apologize to him.” I said. “And learn from this. Why can't you be like Cassandra or any other normal girl?” she asked. “I'm sorry mom.” I said. “You apology doesn't mean anything, your actions will.” she said. There was a crime alert. “We have to go and I want you to sleep over this and think about what you've done.” she ordered me and left. A few minutes pass by and I'm still thinking about her words. I know by now everyone has left the house and I'm alone in the house. I walk down the stairs thinking about her words. I stop midway lost in thought.

Everything becomes blurry. I have double vision. My thoughts are in a hurry. I get dizzy, my hands are shaking. I feel my chest hurt. I collapse. I can see bright lights. “Naya, Naya!” says Stella. My eyes shut and everything is black. I can't feel anything anymore. I'm numb but I can't see anything. I'm in a void, dark empty. I feel like I'm being pushed or shaken but I don't wake up.
