Chapter-1

2016

Jeon Jungkook, a 21 year old medical student is very popular among girls in the university for he aesthetic beauty and favourite among faculties as the topper of their batch. He grew up in a middle class family where his parents run a small cafe in Busan. His childhood best buddy, Park Jimin has the same charms to entice any women however, not the best student unlike his friend. His family owns this medical university and a multi national hospital where both his parents are doctors and head of their respective departments.

Park Yu-Mi, Jimin's twin sister, also a medical student and the major competitor of Jungkook. They started off their first year as nemesis as they always try to be the topper and compete one another but as the years passed by, they fell madly in love with each other. Mr and Mrs Park very much adored Jungkook as he is the best among the students and a perfect match for their daughter.

Even before graduating, Jungkook got calls from various hospitals to be part of their team. However, Mr Park laid down a condition to Jungkook that if he want to marry Yumi, he have to work in their Hospital only. Jungkook didn't have any choice. For him Yumi is his everything.

2017

A week after their graduation, Jungkook proposed Yumi, and she said yes. Others might feel it's a bit too early to get married but they just couldn't wait anymore. Both work at the same hospital along with Jimin and their parents. Jungkook is a part of the emergency department (ED), Yumi is a neurologist similar to her mother, and Jimin in the cardiology department along with his father.

"As I hold your hand, I promise to never let go."

2018

"Jimin, I'm tensed, it's happening. Baby is coming, the baby is coming." Jungkook was running around the hospital corridor like a fool. "Calm down my friend, I'm so happy that I'm going to be an uncle now." Jimin excitedly smiled.

"It's a girl." "Wow it's a girl, oh my little princess." Jungkook became a father as he held his newborn so dearly. Joyful tears running down his cheeks. "I'm a father now, I'm your daddy my little princess." He couldn't contain his happiness looking at the little one. "Yumi, how are you feeling? You did great today, thank you so much, thank you for giving this beautiful angel." Jungkook placed a soft kiss on his wife's forehead.

"I will forever be grateful for this precious moment in my life."

2019

Their baby Jeon Ji-Yan is turning one today. Time flies so quickly. Jungkook took his wife and baby for a trip. Last one year had been crazy for himself and his wife, especially Yumi as she had to take care of the baby and fulfil her duties as doctor.

In the ED, Jungkook see various patients everyday. Some usual, some critical, some on the verge of death and some come dead. A doctor can never be emotional. They need to treat their patients with at most care. The only moment he could breath properly is when he is with his family. However his work keeps him busy day and night.

"I will make sure to spend more quality time with my baby and my love."

2020

Jungkook and Yumi rarely see each other now. They had to take shift to work and take turn to babysit. When Jungkook works at night, Yumi take care of Ji-Yan and vice versa. They often take off days just to make love. They missed each other's touch the most. "Yumi-ah, do you think I should just drop being a doctor? I can be a good house husband." Jungkook chuckled. "Heck no, you are the best doctor in that entire hospital now." She denied. "Haa, better than your parents and brother?" Jungkook smirked kissing her neck. "Yes, better than my parents and definitely better than my brother." As she spoke she let out soft moans.

"You know how much I missed hearing that." Jungkook slowly unbuttoned her shirt still kissing on her neck and collar bone. She tried to control her moans but failed which aroused her partner. "Wait, use this, we can't have another baby now." She gave him the contraception shyly smiling. He couldn't agree more.

"I just couldn't control myself, I missed your touch more than ever."

As weeks passed by, Jungkook was preparing for their daughter 2nd birthday. Yumi wanted to celebrate at sharp 12AM so she asked Jungkook to arrange the cake and gifts of their little princess. "Yumi-ah, where are you? It's almost 11:30 PM now." Jungkook checked up on his busy wife. "I'm getting down from hospital, I will reach home in 15 minutes."

"You said you will be at home in 15 minutes but you never did. You left me all alone in this cruel world. What will Ji-Yan do without you? What will I ever do without you my dear Jeon Yu-Mi?
