Jungkook went near the motionless body to check the pulse. To his relief, he got a very clear normal pulse. He leaned forward and placed his ear to the patient's chest to listen the heartbeat rhythm. Jungkook sighed and looked at the patient again with tears already flowing through his cheeks.
"Kook, I'm okay. I-." Jungkook cut him off. "Why did I get the alerts then?" Was it anger or worry that's widespread on Jungkook's face? Taehyung sat up instantly, catching a glimpse of Jimin who is still standing at the room door. They heard sirens getting loud and near. "You called an ambulance?" Taehyung asked in surprise. "What am I supposed do when I got alerts of your heart rate and you not answering any of my calls?" Taehyung was now clear that it's anger that's painted over his doctor's face.
"I will deal with the ambulance." Jimin left the two alone at room and headed downstairs. "I —I was kinda bored at cafe today as there weren't many customers in the evening so I was just going through this watch features and somehow I might have clicked on 'sent alerts'. I didn't realise it until very later after I saw your 20 missed calls. I was closing the cafe that time. Saw all the calls when I got home. By that time, I heard your car coming through so I thought I will just prank you." Taehyung took a deep breath. "I'm extremely sorry jungkook, I didn't think of the consequences and effect on you."
"Effect on me? Yeah right. Of course there is no reason for me to be tensed right? You are just my mere patient. But still as a doctor it's my responsibility to respond to my patients, I just had little too emotion in your case. Am I right Mr Kim." Jungkook stood up and walked out of the room.
"Jungko—." The doctor left the patient in tears. A minute later, Taehyung felt a tightness in his heart. A real one. He could feel his breath getting shallow, sweating immensely, and chest pain increasing. Should he scream and cry for help? He wish he could but his voice betrayed.

"Look Taehyung, you cannot keep fooling Jungkook, he has emotions too he just—." Jimin thought he played again and covered for Jungkook who was still processing his emotions. But as Jimin climbed up the stairs, he couldn't exactly figure out if the patient was faking or not. "Taehyung, are you alright?" Jimin rushed towards him in concern. It's took few seconds for him to realise it was not an act. "Junnngggkoookahhh." Jimin screamed at the top of his voice. He immediately called ambulance again.
Jungkook knew jimin's scream could only mean one thing. He sprint to the room only to see Taehyung fighting for his life. "Please tell me he is acting again." Jungkook let out the words fingers crossed. Jimin shook his head.
As soon as the ambulance arrived, they took him in, Jungkook accompanied still holding Taehyung's sweaty palm. "Tae, please hold on. I'm with you. I will always stay by your side" Amid this pain and breathlessness, Taehyung heard Jungkook faintly but soon everything went to pitch black.
