Summer

29 3 19

She's the month of June,
She's got flowers in her teeth;
She could've gone to anybody
But she came to me

I think that's pretty funny
'Cause I'm not that much fun
She's a firework,
The bang of a shotgun.

I'm never bored when summer comes-
Longer days and less night,
And when I'm feeling lonely
I know that can't be right

'Cause June's around the corner-
The flowers are in bloom,
And all my worries cease
When she walks in the room.

So now I write this poem
I guess what Im trying to say
Is that she's like the daybreak-
She makes the darkness fade away.
