Draco had been over the fact that Cecil would be disappearing soon. Yep, over it. He definitely did not spend all night thinking about it. Nope does not sound like him.

Because denial was the rage that season.

After Herbology, which seemed to take ages, Draco decided to go to the library to read more about his inheritance. It helped keep his mind away from the dwelling fact that he chooses to ignore.

On his way to said library he passes by the a group of rowdy Gryffindor's, making their way to the quidditch pitch, as they made a commotion in the not-so-busy hallway.

And of course Harry flipping Potter, or Hadrian as everyone seems to call him nowadays, was leading said rowdy teenagers with a grin like no other. Of course Draco ignored them, they were not worth his time and effort. He had better things to do anyway.

Once he saw Hadrian's eyes glance back at him, he knew it was his time to leave. He took a sharp turn right and straight into the almost empty library.

He took a seat at the far back, pulling out a thick book that could be used as a stepping stool. He put on his glasses, quickly flipped to the page he left off before tuning out the world around him. 'This was gonna be a long week.'

He was emersed in the book before him that he had not heard the calling of his name until he was poked on the side, by a very sharp nail mind you, "Ah! What?!" He snapped his head up, only to meet a smiling Thalia and a calm Luna.

Thalia dropped dramatically unto a chair opposite him, "Oh! Draco, honey bun. Where were you when I was dying of thirst and lack of knowledge?" She sighed dramatically afterwards.

Draco just stared at her blankly, "Don't be so stiff with me. Word has it that you and Potter have a thing going on. Spill." What was with girls and their spill thing?

Draco sat there for a while as the words sunk in, "Eww! Nothing is going on between me and that wanker." Draco elaborated with rapid hand gestures before getting a hush warning from Madame Pince for their loud ruff housing as she put it.

After a string of sorry's they lowered their tone, "We don't suspect a thing Draco. We just wanted to ask." Luna jumped in causing Draco to flinch. He had forgotten she was there for a moment.

Wasn't this that looney girl he had heard about from the other Slytherins? Now that he looked at her, she just seemed down to earth and open. Nothing looney about that, except for the occasional waving of hand and looking about when not necessary.

It was kinda weird actually.

Draco examined her, "And who pray tell gave you the right to bud into my personal affairs anyway?" That probably wasn't the best choice of words, once he saw how their glistened with mischief.

That just adds to Draco's list why girls are so damn scary. He shook his head and decided that he had said enough to the looney duo.

Now there were times were he had strong negative opinions about the snotty and know-it-alls they call Ravenclaws. But these two were clear proof of how stereotypical opinions are rubbish.

He could feel the eyes of the two on his head, and it was not pleasant. He slammed his book with enough force to shake the table, but it had not made much noise. "What is it? Can't you see I'm busy. As Ravenclaws I would have thought you would know better than interrupt someones reading."

But all he got in response was a smirk from Thalia and a tilt of the head from Luna, "Lovegood. Even you must had standards " He muttered before getting up. Even in the library he couldn't get peace. "Draco wait. We just wanted to ask, we didn't mean to rile you up. How about, we help you with whatever you are trying to learn." Thalia quickly quipped as a way to get Draco to stay put.

She was up to something.

"In exchange for information of course."

'Whatever, this could be interesting.' Draco sat back down but not for the reason they were hoping, "I assure you, there is no need for your assistance. Now if you would kindly leave me to my own devices that would be swell." He answered in hopes of retaliation.

And like any other, there it was.

"Come on~"

"No."

"I could put in a good word for you with Hadrian."

"Don't care."

"I could leave you alone for a week."

"You and I both know you are incapable of doing that."

"I could do your taxes?"

"Thalia. How old are we?"

"16?"

"Now think about what you said before."

"...I could make your wildest dreams come true."

"Thalia. You should really come with a warning label."

"...I could-

Draco put up a finger, "Quiet. Just shut up for a while, then maybe I'll consider your offers." Thalia sunk back sulking while Luna just kept her gaze fixated on Draco. Something was about to happen that she could not put her finger on.

Severus made his way to his office with steady strides. As soon as he had entered said office, he made a beeline for the floo. Taking a handful of floo powder, he tossed it into the fire and muttered his desired destination.

He stepped into the floo and had appeared in a dimly lit room. It had Dark blue walls with marble-tiled floors. The room was decorated with an assortment of pictures and arm chairs. A man with his back turned to Severus, stared at a book shelf with boredom.

As soon as he heard footsteps approach, he turned and smiled brightly. He had jet black hair with dark brown eyes. He looked to be in his 30s but his eyes seem to hold experience that dated back centuries.

Severus sat down in an arm chair with a huff as the man came up behind him, "So? Had fun I see?" His tone holding a great amount of teasing.

Severus simply sighed before a whirl of transparent aura overcame him. Which seemed to change his features significantly. His hair grew longer, almost waist length. His eyes took on a deep shade of emerald green. His face smoothened out getting rid of all wrinkles.

As his body seemed to become more slender, akin to a woman. But it held more masculinity. No breast to show, no hips to showcase. He just seemed to be younger and slender.

He pinched the bridge of his nose, "I'm teaching a bunch of morons. They don't seem to give me a break." He sighed again as his head tilted backward in frustration.

The man came forward and started to massage Severus' shoulders as he let out a hum of approval, "Don't worry about it. Children tend to be more restless when they don't have much to do. Just don't think about it to much." The man advised with a fond smile.

While Severus seemed to be in another world, "Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Of course I am."

"Sure Tom."
