Dunk's POV
After the short vacation, we're back in reality, and as usual, Archen's back from being cold. Today is the first day that I needed to report to the airline. But my problem now is where should I leave Nathan?
So I texted Pond and Phuwin. Luckily, Pond is currently off duty since he just came back from the medical mission. I dropped off Nathan at Pond and Phuwin's house before going to the airline.
Author's POV
At Dungjang Airline
All the available staff line up at the meeting room to introduce the new cabin crew, aka flight attendants. The majority of the new flight attendants are flight stewardesses, and Dunk is the only flight steward.
That's made him a center of attraction since he is the only male in the category of cabin crew, not as a pilot. The chief pilot who manages the daily operations of an aviation department for an airline. As a chief pilot, his job is to oversee all pilots, ground personnel, and flight attendants.
After he announced the new cabin crew trainee, they're back to work. And Dunk for the whole week training hard to be able to get in for a regular cabin crew. For the past few days, Dunk always left Nathan at Pond & Phuwin's house since Pond is currently off duty.
After stressful training at airlines, luckily, Dunk is one of the rare grade two cabin crew. Grade two is a little higher than a regular cabin crew in the hierarchy of cabin crew.
Hierarchy of Cabin Crew:
•Cabin Service Director
•Purser
•Grade One crew.
• Grade Two crew.
• Air Hostess/ Stewards (if there is no grading)
• Trainees.
Dunk's POV
Unfortunately, he'd be on flight JD43v3r, not on flight JD143 where Archen and Phuwin are. But on the other hand, it's quite good since Phuwin and I will be on different flights and someone's gonna be with Nathan while I'm gone in the meantime since I can't find a nanny for him,
And my friends are okay with it, so I'm gonna take advantage of it. Nathan's safety is my priority, after all.
"Hi. Nice to meet you, Mr. Natachai, I'm Boom Tharatorn, by the way. The pilot of flight JD43v3r."
I take his hand in front and do the handshake. "Hello, Captain! Nice to meet you, and please take care of me."I politely smiled.
He smiled at me and said sure. Wow! His eyes are smiling as he smiles. He's handsome!
And after the greetings from the staff, he'll be with from now on, he went home to pack his things and Nathan's things. I have a first flight tomorrow, and Nathan will be with Pond and Phuwin.
But something unexpected happened! Nathan throws tantrums as he doesn't want to be with the couple! And worst-case is he wanted to be with his mortal enemy, aka Archen.
In the living room of PondPhuwin's house with poker face Archen, Nathan's who's having a tantrum, and the couple had this amused look on their face.
"Papa, I don't want to be with Uncle Phuwin and Uncle Pond! I want to stay with Mister Joong!" he said, crying.
"And can you tell why? Does your uncle abuse you?"
"NO!!" I covered my ears when Nathan and the couple shouted.
"Hey! We did not!"Phuwin said, matching the killing mode look, I rolled my eyes at him.
"I'm just asking, chill," I said and asked Nathan again.
"Tell me your reason, mister. Don't disturb your Uncle Joong. Just stay here with your Uncle Phuwin. It's just one week."
"No. I'll stay in Mister Joong's house!" he said while stomping.
"Nathan Brooklyn Boonprasert! Don't test my patience! You wanted to go with your Uncle Joong but you still calling him Mister. You two keep on bickering, and you insist on staying with him."This time, I put in a stricter voice.
And the traitor kid runs behind Archen while crying. Before I can speak Archen, talk first.
"It's okay since I don't have a flight for a week. If it's okay with you, he can be with me," he said.
I looked at him dumbfounded, but I can't read what Archer's thinking!
"But it'll disturb your rest."
He looks at Nathan and then at me. "It won't since Nathan is a good kid."
I look at him, and he does the same before I take a deep breath.
I looked at Nathan. "You're lucky I'm in a rush mister, let's continue this when I come back. Be good to your uncles, especially to your uncle Archen." I said, and Nathan nodded while wiping his tears.
I came near him and gave him a hug and a kiss. " Be good, baby, okay? I'll be back in a jiffy. I love you."
"Yes, Papa, I love you too," he responded before kissing my cheek.
"Thank you. Sorry to disturb you. "I apologized to Archen.
But he said it's okay. I thanked the couple too and asked them to find him a nanny for Nathan.
