Angelique's POV
Dunk left the house with his son, the poor bastard. Good riddance! That child is incredibly irritating, and they both deserve to be gone. They have no place here and no right to come back, especially Dunk, that despicable person! I will not allow him near Archen again. I won't let him hurt archen like he did before. What he did to Archen was incredibly painful, I won't allow him to do it again, you disgraceful person. How dare you come back here and try to act like nothing happened with Archen.
I have loved Archen since high school. I have always been there for him when he needs me, ready to help and accompany him. However, everything changed when Dunk came into the picture. His attention is now solely focused on him. His name always comes out of his mouth. It annoys me when I always hear Archen talking about Dunk. Why does he need to intrude on our own story? I am happy when you're gone because it gives me another chance for him to notice me, but you always have his attention.
You hurt him before, and now you want him to come back to you again? Attention seeker, you slut. Shame on you! I won't let you take archen on me. You've come back and want to be in the picture again. Aunt Cheena and I are here in the living room, waiting for Archen to arrive. I don't know where he went and slept last night. He ignored my calls, and he also turned off his phone.
When I heard the door open and saw Archen, I quickly went to him and hugged him.
"Chen, where were you last night? Why didn't you answer my calls? We were worried about you."
Archen removed my hand, went to his mom, and hugged her.
Good morning, Mom. I'm sorry I didn't make it home last night." Archen kissed his mother's cheek.
"It's okay, son. I understand."
"Where did you go, Chen? Where did you sleep last night?" I asked him.
"Dunk's place," he answered.
"Why did you sleep there? Didn't they leave here? Why do you still have to follow them?" I was so pissed off at his answer.
"Because I need to take care of my own family, Angelique. I need to make sure that they are safe." Archen looked at me intently.
"Own family? What do you mean?"I asked him
But Archen didn't answer me; instead, he looked at his mom.
"Mom, you know that I love Dunk, right? I know we had misunderstandings before, and we were both hurt by what happened. Despite everything, I still love him. I can't imagine my life without him anymore. I can't bear to lose him again . I just want your blessing. I'm going to propose to Dunk. I need to plan everything for our future. I want to build my own family with him and Nathan."
It's your decision, son. I don't want to meddle in your happiness; I just want you to be happy. I know you suffered when he left you, but I also see how he changed you. Just choose your own happiness, son. I'm here to support you. Even if I can't give your Kuya Andrew the support he needs, I will make sure to give it all to you.
"Thank you, Mom," Archen hugged his mom.
What is this? Archen wants to propose to Dunk. No way, no hell way.

Angelique, I know you're always on my side when Dunk left me, and I'm thankful for that. But this is my personal life and my personal decisions. I'm only telling you this because I consider you as my family. And one more thing, I just want you to apologize to my boyfriend, especially to my son.

She treats you like her own daughter, but please respect my loved ones, especially Dunk and Nathan, because they will be your family too soon. I don't want to see them hurt by someone. I won't let that happen.

Archen went out of his room carrying a bag full of clothes and stuff.
"Archen, where are you going? Why are you carrying so many things?" I asked.
Archen didn't answer me again; instead, he went to his mom and kissed her.
" Mom, I'm going to move to Dunk's place. They need me, and I need to take care of them ," he said.
"But we need you here, Archen. Auntie needs you too, and I need you. You know my condition. Tita Cheena is not always here because she's busy with the company. I can't be alone here. What if something happens to me again?"
"Don't worry, Angelique. I have hired a special nurse for you. Maybe he's on his way, so you don't need to worry."
"Bye, Mom. I have to go." He kissed his mom and left.
