CHAPTER 5

You don’t know you’re beautiful

And that’s what makes you beautiful!

It was lunch time and we were out sitting at one of the tables near the field, listening to this thing Hanna’s forcing us to listen from her iphone. According to her, it was a recording of an interview earlier done on Radio 1. How she was able to download it so fast (and during school hours), we’ll never really know.

“SHHH! It’s on!” she scolded us. Which was completely unnecessary, by the way since Aimee and I were basically daydreaming about what ever. But okay, I’ll listen in.

“Alright everybody, that was What Makes You Beautiful by none other than One Direction!” Said the host, which I assume was Grimmy? Or was that Grimmers? Ah I’ll stick with Nick.

“Now I’m sure you’re all aware of One Direction’s upcoming Up All Night Tour that’s going to kick off this December 18th.” How could I not, with Hanna being excited over it every. Single. Day.

“Well to get you all more pumped up, we have in our very own studio, the one, actually, the five, the only, One Direction!” He proudly announced.

“Hello!” you could hear five distinct voices say at the same time, Hanna tried to keep her composure, by the way.

“So lads, you all excited for the tour?” Nick asked them.

“We’re very excited, actually,” A voice said, I think it was Louis, given the slightly high voice. “rehearsals are fun, but it gets weird after some time since we’re practically talking to an empty room.” And they all laugh.

“Yeah, we can’t wait to actually perform in front of our fans.” Another voice said. Well I guess it was Liam, most likely, judging from the other interviews Hanna made us watch in the past, anyway.

“And I’m sure your fans are very excited to watch and hear you sing live.” Nick said.

“We love our fans,” said an Irish accent, definitely Niall. “I honestly think we’re more excited than they are!”

Yup, you guessed it right, Hanna squealed.

“So what are you lads most excited for about touring?” Nick asked the lads

“Travelling! I always wanted to see different places.” Zayn said

“Meeting the fans.” Said Liam, you could almost hear the smile in his voice. “same here!” agreed Louis.

“The different types of food we get to try!” Niall said, of course, not without earning a laugh from everyone, even myself and Aimee.

“Finally performing our songs live.” Said a husky voice, can’t mistake it for anyone else but Harry.

“Psh, that’s what he says, but what he’s really excited about is—mwgoimg js” Louis was cut short due to (I assume?) someone placing his hand over Louis’ mouth.

“Ah. What Louis’ trying to say is Harry’s hopeful that his wittle Hollywood crushie would finally know he exists.”

“ZAYN!!!” Harry said, sounding annoyed or defeated, earning a laugh from Nick.

“And who is this, Hollywood crushie, Harold? Why do I not know of this, huh?” Nick asked his friend.
