Daphne Tett does not have a sister who has a demon child. She has a brother who has three dogs who can be pretty hyper, but they're not demonic. The only people she quarantined with during COVID were her parents, and she filled her time by writing Run Like the Wind, the predecessor to Dancing in the Rain. She attended Trinity University, a semester and a half of which was virtual, and she graduated in 2023 with a major in English and a minor in new media. She currently lives in San Antonio with her Nintendo Switch and her Squid Sisters plushies, and she works as a student success coach with City Year San Antonio, where she spends her off periods writing her next book. Her favorite character is Circe, and she'd like to write a Circe-based spinoff one day.
