"You left my car in the forest?" Mom exclaims.

"Just for a few hours! Look, it's in the garage without a scratch, which I think is fine, considering that we both made it home." She's never been a fan of my driving skills, and this is probably her icing on the cake.

Mom sighs and covers her face. "I suppose so."

I kiss her cheek. "Thank you, for letting me off the hook."

"Well, it's your first offense, so don't get any ideas."

Jasper sits upstairs reading comic books with Han. She decided upon herself to ready entire collection while she waits. Right now she's currently on Thor, which is one of my personal favorites.
Jasper tears his eyes from the book. "Where have you been?"

"Well...." I decide to spill about most of the events that happened. I leave out certain things like what he's opened up about, because they're personal and not mine to tell.

"Wow." Jasper mutters. "I should go to the forest more often."

I laugh. "Better you than me."

Hannah interjects. "I hate to change the subject, but we need to put a name to the school paper. We've released three issues already, and there's still no title."

"Well, considering it's all school based, the title should be school oriented." I add.

"Maybe we should just write the articles, and then we can discuss a title with the entire team." Jasper decides.

"Sounds good to me." I murmur.
For once in my life, I'd rather not think about the newspaper. I can't, not right now. I just want to throw myself into a pillow and scream, because I can't even comprehend what happened with Bay.

It was something great.
I might actually get to know this kid.
And for once in my life, I'm finally happy.

But that doesn't mean I'm going to dabble in this moment. Moments come and go, each surpassing different categories. This one is just another memory, that's going to be stored in a special place in my heart.

And some memories only need to last a minute to be significant.

"So are you two going to try to give each-other space like you originally planned?" Jasper asks.

I shrug. "I have no clue, but I really don't think it's a big deal anymore."

Han grins. "You like being around him, don't you?"

"Bay's interesting to watch. All his strange quirks humour me."

"But you like spending time with him."

"In a certain way, yes."

She squeals. "I knew it! I knew it from the day I met you! You like him!"

I roll my eyes. "Yeah, whatever."
