It was a sunny summer day, and you were walking to the reception to collect your new keys. You had recently saved enough money to get a dorm because your house situation wasn't the best, nor the safest part in town, or well in any safe place. But anyway, you made your way to the reception to get your key. The walls were a sad gray colour, and the carpet was ruff under your shoes. To really just simplify your surroundings, it was sad like any school would look like. You finally made your way up to the front to talk to the receptionist. "Hello, I'm collecting the keys for my dorm room" "Name?", she said, not even bothering to look at you. "Y/N L/N" "Ok, give me just a second." She started to type in your name on her computer. "Ok Y/N your dorm should be dorm 6, and here's your new keys." She opened a draw under her desk full of keys, then she picked one up and put it on the counter. "There you go love, enjoy the room the other kid in there is pretty nice if I do say so myself." "Thank you miss" you say grabbing the keys and walking out.
It took you a few minutes but you finally found your new dorm, or well first dorm. You got your keys out and opened the door to see a boy on the couch watching some kind of show. "Oh, um, hi" you say a little nervous. "Oh, so you're my new roommate, well nice to meet you my name is Logan Yours?" "Oh, my name is Y/N." "Well, it's nice to meet you, so I guess you're my new roommate." He said in a little awkward tone. "Uh yea, I guess, so um, what room is yours so I can have the other one" you say while looking around. "It's the one next to the kitchen" "ok, thanks Logan." You start to walk around the place, it was small but it had to do, unless of course you wanted to go back home, yeah no this place was much nicer. You found the kitchen and not to far from there, was another door. You assumed it was your room so you went in. It wasn't anything special just a plain small bed with a desk and a decent sized closet that could probably fit someone in there, well great now I'm gonna be checking that before I go to bed every night, you thought to yourself. You went out of the room to explore the rest of the dorm, aka looking for the bathroom. After that was done you went out to your car to get your clothes, money, phone etc, now it was dark and you just got back to your dorm. Logan was no longer there he must have gone to his room, luckily today was Friday so once you put your stuff in your room you got out your phone to text your friends
