My eyes slowly turn to the irritating tapping of Matt's tree trunk fingers on my dash board. It takes him a few seconds to realise I'm shooting daggers at him before he finally stops. We're sat in a car park opposite a row of shops, following one of the Conroy's, Dylan. We tracked a location on his phone to a barber shop here, and now we're discreetly waiting to see him appear. A smell of beautiful food is lingering through the open windows, making it awfully difficult not to run into the café next to the barber shop. What I wouldn't give to destroy a barbecue chicken pizza right now.

"Have you ever wondered why we were made on Earth? And not on like, Saturn or something?", Matt blurts as he stares longingly out the window. My face scrunches in confusion, I swear this guy will come out with the most random shit no matter where he is.

I keep my eyes on the barber shop as I reply, "No".

He turns to look at me, "Oh, come on. You've never wondered about stuff like that? Like why weren't we adapted to life on Saturn. Do you think we'd still look the way we do? Or maybe we'd have like 8 arms or some shit".

I suck in a deep breath, collecting myself so I don't push this dickhead out the car and drive away. "No. Why would I ever think about that?"

"Curiosity, mate. I bet you've thought about it at least once".

"I've never imagined we'd live on Saturn. But there's definitely other life out there", I add. I can't deny that I've never thought about that stuff but I didn't plan to discuss it while stalking one of our enemies. Matt really chooses his timing.

"Exactly! I definitely think that-"

"Matt", I interrupt, "Finding it really hard to focus right now."

He mumbles something under his breath and rolls his eyes like a kid who's just been told he can't have any sweets. I choose to ignore him as I keep my attention on the barber shop. A few minutes later, I see Dylan strut out fist bumping one of the barbers. He's dressed in a matching tracksuit with hideous trainers, definitely thinking he looks tough when he actually looks like a traffic cone.

I follow him with my eyes, as he makes his way into the café next door; lucky cunt might get a barbecue chicken pizza. Matt is playing some game on his phone, and I put some music on quietly in the background. Shuffling through songs, I decide to play 'By The Way' by Red Hot Chili Peppers.

"What the fuck is this?", Matt scoffs, not taking his eyes off his game.

"This is actual music. Not that drill bullshit you like", I retort.

He chuckles, and I keep my gaze locked on the café. About 4 minutes pass, and I see the door open, except it's not Dylan; it's my little dove. Fancy seeing her here. I have to control the blood in my body and stop it rushing to my cock when I see her wearing a tight red crop top. Naughty bitch. She looks like a goddess, she's so naturally beautiful. As she's walking to her car, it hits me that Dylan is in that café, which means he was within the proximity of my girl. I don't give a fuck about kidnapping him, I will kill him instantly if he even looked at her. I'll carve his eyeballs out first while he's alive, then shove them up his ass hole before I slit his throat.

"You okay, bro?", Matt interrupts my thoughts. He's looking at my hands, and I notice my nails have ripped into the leather of my arm rest, even though my nails are always kept short.

"Yeah, I'm fine", I mutter.

His head turns to look towards the café, followed by a wolf whistle, "Look at them two girls, mate", he taps my shoulder, nodding towards my Bella and her friend. I grit my teeth hard trying not to turn and break his jaw. Fuck, he's really testing me right now.
