"HIYOOOORI!"

YUJI WAS DESPERATELY DODGING through the tree branches that hung low through the pebbled pathway. It seemed to be rarely used by the look of the overgrown greenery. He could hear Hiyori's quick movements several yards in front of him, but with all the greenery in front of him she was still out of glance.

"HI-HI-HI-YORIIII!" Yuji tried using his palms to echo his voice even further, thinking that perhaps she didn't hear him — but he still didn't hear any sort of reply from the redhead.

"You should just give her space right now, Itadori."

Yuji switched on his hips towards Kugisaki and Fushiguro, they had managed to catch up to him on the pebbled path. They both had some sour expressions, probably still trying to recover from the news, but still glanced warmly at their friend.

"I gotta explain what happened," Yuji immediately replied, and then he turned to let another shout out. "HIYOOOORI!"

Fushiguro smacked the back of the pink-haired boy's head at the echoing sound, and Yuji grimaced while softly holding his pounding head.

"Ow. . ." Yuji complained, a pouty expression written on his face.

"Lucky for you, it's your day to make dinner," Kugisaki spoke up while placing a supportive hand on her swinging hip. Yuji narrowed his eyes suspiciously, they didn't even know I was alive until five minutes ago. . . "Make Yori's favorite, explain, apologize, and maybe do some groveling in between. She'll forgive you in no time."

Yuji pondered the thought while he glanced towards the wide dorm building they had their rooms were in. Hiyori had probably already made it back inside, locking her bedroom door behind her to seclude herself from the world. It would surely only make things worse if he were to camp outside her door until she finally caved.

      "Fine. . .I'll do it."

( ͡° ᴥ ͡°)

      "Yasai Itame."

Hiyori ever so slightly squinted her eyes in Kugisaki's direction, a bit skeptical. Yasai Itame, the Japanese word for vegetable stir-fry, is the redheads favorite dish. She even had the recipe book of her family that contained the same recipe of yasai itame she had when she was a kid.

It was around dinner-time, and Hiyori had finally left her room after a few hours. Kugisaki was the one who was able to convince her, explaining that Yuji made her absolute favorite and she had to come see it for herself. It took awhile for the redhead to be convinced, but once the smell of the yasai itame flooded her nose — there was no more denying it.
