( ๑>ᴗ<๑ ) — chapter sixteen
"roppongi"
"I HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING news!"The four first-year jujutsu sorcerers all stayed silent with dull expressions as their sensei practically burst up and down in excitement. Hiyori couldn't help but raise a cautious eyebrow, experiencing a flashback to a previous situation that reminded her of the current event. She's grown to dislike Gojo's surprises.
"Is this another dead friend surprise?" Hiyori questioned dryly, her eyes were narrowly shaped.
"Unfortunately, I am not able to conjure the dead," Gojo sarcastically smiled brightly in Hiyori's face, a toothy one. Then he paused for a moment, pressing a thoughtful finger to his lips. "Actually, I've never tried it before. Maybe I am."
An infamous mocking or sarcastic Gojo laugh rang in the air, it's the kind that kind of goes along the lines of 'ehehehehe' and it drives Hiyori close to insanity.
"Anyway, you've distracted me from the amazing news," Gojo simply waved Hiyori away, although she didn't even move an inch. She perked a warning eyebrow, shifting her arms over her chest — waiting for him to test her one more time. "We're going to Roppongi!"
And for once — the good news that Gojo always seemed to brag and tease about was actually good news for a change. The aura surrounding the room suddenly flooded with excitement, enthusiasm, and overall sparking with intensity.
"You're joking!" Kugisaki jumped into the air — and I literally mean, she hopped into the air because of the adrenaline pumping her veins.
"Roppongi?" Fushiguro repeated, it was almost as if he was trying to convince himself Gojo had just actually said that.
Yuji eagerly threw his arms in the air as he jumped towards Gojo, and despite the usual effects of his infinity — nothing stopped Yuji from enclosing the white-haired man into a bear hug. The young adult practically nuzzled into Gojo's shoulder as he let our several whoops of excitement.
Hiyori was a little hesitant to believe the lighthearted news. She remembered how disappointed the group had been when they hadn't actually gotten to visit Roppongi last time. Her shining purple eyes hadn't left the body of Gojo, examining his body language.
She wouldn't forget that easy — how easy of a liar Satoru Gojo is.
Kugisaki had a little bounce in her step as she beamed towards her redheaded friend, "Which store should we go to first? I was thinking maybe—"
"—Before you make any solid plans, I should let you know what plans you guys have with me first," Gojo interrupted by waving his index finger towards the first-years to gather their distracted and scattered attention.
