Human For A Day (pt 1/?)

First attempt at writing  ;-;

Also, Seek x Figure 

Seek POV:

I woke up. How long was I asleep-OH SHIT.  Guiding Light's meeting is in 5 minutes, and she's gonna be so pissed if I'm late. 'Well, fuck' I think to myself before speeding off to the dining room. 

I slam the door open, earning the gaze of everyone there. "Hi mf" Rush says with a smirk. I ignore him and pull a chair next to Figure. "Well then, now that everyone is finally here, I can get started." Halt rolls his eyes when she clears her throat. "Since less humans are coming to the hotel, I think that it's time for a break" Guiding Light says, "We could either go visit the Rooms entities again, or-" she pauses, "we can become humans for a day." Everyone is silent. 

Finally, Rush speaks up " ok, I wanna become a human. Like, imagine their food you guys. Once I found a soft brown bar in a human's backpack, and it was so yummy-" "Well, I guess I wouldn't mind," Eyes says, cutting Rush off. Slowly, everyone agrees to the plan to become human, but oddly Figure stays silent.

"Figure?" Guiding Light prompted. The blind entity mumbles something. "Figure? You there?" I tap his head lightly . "Will I be able to see?" Figure blurts out, fiddling with his hands. Guiding Light thinks for a moment. "Well, it should return some of your sight, if not all" Guiding Light said. Figure is silent for a moment. Finally, he made a decision. 

"Ok, let's do it" the blind entity says nervously. 

Guiding Light nods her head. "Ok, but just warning you, this'll burn a little bit."

She holds out her hands, and I start feeling like I'm on fire. I feel like screaming, but oddly enough, my mouth won't open. Suddenly, a coolness settles over me, as if someone threw a bucket of water over my head. I hold out my hands and examine them closely.  Instead of the usual goopy hands, I see fleshy brown hands clothed in black gloves. I turn them over in amazement. From the murmurs of excitement around me, everyone else is also stunned by their own transformations.

I turn to look at Figure. Instead of seeing a fleshy, tall entity, I see a handsome man with fluffy brown hair and bronze glasses. My jaw drops to the floor. 'No way bro...'  I think to myself, staring in disbelief.

Figure turns around and stares at me with his now golden-brown eyes. Rush smirks at my expression, and I make a mental note to murder him later.

"Seek?" Figure asks quietly.

"Yeah?" I say, making eye contact with him. 

He starts tearing up.

"OH MY GOSH I CAN FINALLY SEE!" He grabs me and gives me a tight hug. My face heats up, and I hear Rush stifling a laugh. 

Guiding Light claps her hands together. "Ok, so now that you are all humans, here is your car. PLEASE do not get into a car accident." She whips out some keys out of nowhere, and a green Jeep suddenly drives into the room through the wall.

She tosses the keys towards me, and I fumble to catch them. "Seek, you're driving." she says.

"Wait wait wait- why me?" I ask in confusion.

"Because I trust you more." she says neutrally.

"Why can't I drive?" Halt complains.

Guiding Light sighs. "Whatever, get in the car. Here's some phones because it's literally how life works now." She tosses a bag into the car before waving us off. I turn the key into ignition and drive through the hole in the wall.

No one's pov

"On second thought, maybe I should've just teleported them," Guiding Light mutters. She sighs before teleporting into the library to enjoy a well-deserved break.
