There was pros and cons to having roommates, a pro was that Stella didn't sleep in our room last night a con is that I share a dorm with each different type of annoying. Sport, early-birds, late-risers and perfectionists.

I asserted into late-risers, I never set an alarm and rolled out of bed when the sun started blinding me and when the evading nose of Aisha's toothbrush woke me.

"Don't you look charming," Musa teased me sarcastically as I exited my room.

"I know your a telepath but you don't have to talk about everything you see and feel, it makes the rest of us feel awkward and embarrassed," I smiled falsely at her before going into the bathroom. That was probably mean however I'm not a morning person and she got what was coming for her.

"Musa got you too?" Bloom asked me as I just nodded and she laughed. I didn't want to wash my hair as I only washed it yesterday so I just tied it into two braids and pulled some pieces of hair to frame my face.

After I got back into my room I changed into an oversized knitted sweater and some UGGs. While I was trying to put fake eyelashes on without gluing my eye together Terra stumbled into the room.

"Oh, I didn't know you were in here, I'll leave," she mumbled awkwardly as she picked up some clothes she had dropped on the ground.

"If you want to get changed in here you can, I was about to go into the common room anyway," I offered as she smiled and nodded timidly. I grabbed my bag which was a cream tote bag and headed into the common room where Stella was snapping at Bloom for loosing her ring.

"I'm sure we can tell Mrs Dowling about the ring and she can get it for us," Bloom offered rationally.

"No, no one is telling Mrs Dowling. I will figure it out after class but for now no one tells anything to anyone. And can someone tell that to Terra, she can never seem to keep her mouth shut," Stella mumbled as she opened the door to our room where Terra was putting a sweater on.

"Got it," she replied with a cute smile.

Me and Bloom were the first to head down to stone circle where we were having our first class about understanding our power.

"What's that bowl?" Bloom whispered as she watched Mrs Dowling place a large bowl onto the rock in the middle of the circle.

"It's a source of magic, like I was telling you yesterday. Magic cones from multiple sources, some of them we create, some are created for us. If you want to practice magic this is where you start," I replied also watching Mrs Dowling with an intrigued eye.

Once the class was all there Mrs Dowling started explaining the exercise. "Winnie, it's your turn," she told me as I nervously stepped up to the bowl. When I looked in it was filled with soil which she told me was a representation of mother nature in magic and now magic stemmed from the natural elements.

"Your magic creates life, it's generous however manipulative. Watch as Winnie is able to support nature," Mrs Dowling told the class as a sunflower stemmed from the soil. "And watch as she can withdraw her aid," she said darkly as the sunflower began to wither as I withdrew my hands from the bowl.

Bloom smiled at me as she made her way to the rock and I sat down, I watched with sadness as she was unable to create a single flame. "This is a disaster," Musa whispered to me before Bloom snapped at Mrs Dowling.

"Don't worry, you haven't had as much opportunity as the rest of us. I'll see you later," I soothed the ginger girl as Mrs Dowling called her over and I made my way to the cafeteria with Aisha, Terra and Musa who were expressing their concern for Bloom.
