I woke up to Stella trying to sneak into our room at 4am. "God, what are you doing?" I mumbled as I turned my lamp on to see she was still in her clothes and was carrying her shoes.

"I was with Sky, but you can't tell any of the suite, I can't deal with all the lecturing," she grumbled as she collapsed on her bed. I tried to subduing the stinging in my chest when she said she was with Sky.

"Well I'm up now so we may as well talk about it. How was Sky?" I asked as Stella sighed.

"He's dealing with another father-figure being distant and in danger. I ended it with Sky because I felt there wasn't enough emotion now I feel like I'm being drowned in feelings and emotion. I just want a normal teenage relationship, is that too much to ask for?" she whined.

"Stella, if you're feeling overwhelmed why don't you just end things instead of leading him on?" I asked.

"Because there's a part of me that can't live without Sky, without that comfort, then there's another part of me that needs space and to be isolated. I just don't know which one is more powerful," Stella shrugged as we sat in silence, it felt wrong talking to Stella about Sky when I knew I felt a certain way towards him however I wanted to be a good friend.

"You were right, by the way. I should've told headmistress Dowling about the ring, I just thought you'd want to have that satisfaction," Stella spoke up as I laughed.

"That did make me feel better, thanks Stella. I may go get a shower now," I replied chipperly as I heard her groan.

After I showered and did a round of washing for the room it was finally time for the rest of the girls to actually wake up so I could dry my hair and not disturb anyone.

"Hey, I was wondering if we could talk?" Bloom asked as she stood at my doorway, Stella had gone down to the specialist arena to speak to Sky so I had an empty room.

"Of course, if you don't mind me doing my makeup," I replied as she plopped on my bed and started rummaging around my things out of curiosity.

"I was wondering about visions and what they mean, in the first world it means your crazy and I'm hoping in the over world it may mean something more comforting," Bloom asked.

"Well, visions can mean multiple things. Sometimes they can predict the future, or relay the past. Visions are like epiphany's in the overworld, if a vision has come to you it means that you've altered the course in your life. Now my turn, why are you so curious on visions?" I asked.

"Last night, I had a vision of some women saying 'find me'. I think it's the fairy who left me in the human world but I didn't know if it was an embedded memory or something that hasn't even happened," she responded.

"Maybe you finding out you're a changeling has brought this memory to life. What do you plan on doing? Are you going to tell Dowling?" I asked as Bloom shook her head.

"No way, Dowling decided to hide my origin from me, what else is she hiding? Whatever she tells me will be cryptic and vague, I've decided to find my own answers. Thanks for your help," Bloom smiled at me before exiting the room leaving me confused and questioning the stupidity of my dormmate.

The first class of the day was more of practical work. I was sat next to a girl named Beatrix who held electrical properties and was apparently a huge swot. "Winnie. You are able to express your natural abilities well, however can you capture the manmade aspect of nature? Can you separate the water from the plant without destroying the flower's physical appearance?" Mrs Dowling asked me as I stared at the single rose before me.

I focussed my mindset on the rose as I clenched my hand into a fist and felt as water before to fill my palm. After a minute of me extracting water and the plant remaining whole Mrs Dowling smiled, "Well done Winnie," she muttered.
