Chapter 15

Abhinav is sitting in the room talking to someone over the phone. Akshara enters the room and stands beside him. He looked over towards her and started going to the other side and sat there. Akshara comes and sits beside him wrapping his arm with her hand and looks at him helding her ear with one hand. Abhinav looks at her in a single glance,

Ab - Ap sambhal lijiye main do din main aa raha hoon.

Akshara looks at him narrowing her eyes and he ignores her. After Abhinav cut the call,

Ak - Kaha ja rahe hai ap firse.?

Ab - Kasauli.

Ak - Ap abhi abhi to aaye hai Abhinav kyu jana hai firse.?

Ab - Apke bete ko apse door jane se rokna hai to kam toh karna parega naa...

Ak - Abhinav I am sorry. Mujhe nehi pata kaise main woh sab kucg keh gayi. Plz ap mujhe maf kar dijiye.

Ab - Ap mafi kyu mang rahi hai Akshara apne kuch galat thodi kaha tha. Aphi ka beta hai woh.

Akshara couldn’t bear to hear this.

Ak - Abhinav plz ap eisa mat boliye naa apka beta hai woh. Mujhse jyada apse pyaar karta hai woh.

Abhinav stayed quiet while Akshara kept looking at him with pleading eyes.

Kr - Apka financial problems ka to solve ho gaya hai ab hume case k liye taiyari karni chahiye.

Ab - Ap batayiye mujhe kya karna hoga

Abhinav and Krishna are sitting in the garden at the tea table and discussing the case. Krishna gave Abhinav the instructions about how to talk, What to say everything.

Kr - Abhir humare case k liye sabse ahem hai. Uska bayan sab se zyada important hai.

Ab - Hum usey in sabse door nehi rakh sakte..

Kr - Nehi. Uska bayan Judges bhi sunna chahenge. Hume poori tarahse taiyar rehna hoga.

Ab - Ji. Court ki tarikh kab hai.?

Kr - Next monday ko.

Ab - Thik hai main tab tak wapas aa jaunga Kasauli se.

Kr - Ap bura na mane to kuch puchu.?

Ab - Haa haa pochiye naa..

Kr - Apke aur Akshara k bich sab kuch thik hai.?

Ab - Ji ji thik hai.

Kr - Wakil hoon insaan ko dekhke dil ka haal samajh sakti hoon. Expressions padne mein mahir hoon. Ab batayiye.. Sab kuch thik hai.?

Abhinav just smiles weakly..

Kr - Apka personal mamla hai to zyada kuch nehi bolungi par itna kahoongi ho sake to patch up kar lijiye. Mehnat to waise bechari bohot kar rahi hai.

Ab - Apko kaise pata.?

Kr - Apka favourite khana banane mein lagi hai kabse. Dekha maine.

Ab - Ji...

Krishna packs the documents and leaves from there. Abhinav stayed put in the same place. Abhinav wanted to forgive her but the words kept echoing in his ears. As its not the first time. Every time a problem arises and Akshara does something like this.

Abhimanyu is sitting in his room thinking about the case. Roohi enters the premises,

Rooh - Ap kya soch rahe ho.?

Abhi - Apke bhai yaha aa rahe hai na usike bare mein soch raha hoon.

Rooh - Poppy apse kuch bolu.?

Abhi - Bolo na princess permission kyu chahiye apko

Rooh - Woh yaha khush nehi hoga.

Abhi - Apko aisa kyu lagta hai.?

Rooh - Abhir apne Mumma Papa ke bina nehi reh payega. Ap plz aisa mat kariye. Woh bohot sad ho jayega.

Abhimanyu could hear the sadness in Roohi's voice which she was feeling for her brother. But He was so lost in his stubbornness that he avoided it.

Abhi - Abhir dekhna yaha bohot khush rahega. Woh apne docman se bhi to bohot pyaar karta hai na. Aur ap bhi hai yaha.

Roohi being a child could understand its useless to tell him the facts. He will avoid them all.

Ak - Apka sara favourite khana banaya hai maine.

Ab - Thank you ji.

Akshara keeps giving him food and he calmly takes it while fighting with his heart.

Ak - Apko aur doon..

Ab - Nehi bas ho gaya mera.

Ak - Khana kaisa laga.?

Ab - Acha tha ji

K - Acche se tarif kariye Abhinav ji. Kitni ummeed se banaya hai meri behen ne.

Abhinav gives a smile which shows how embarrassed he is right now. But Akshara keeps looking at him expectantly. Which Abhinav notices

Ab - Khana bohot acha tha. Apko itni takleef lene ki zaroorat nehi thi...

Nobody understand but Akshara understands the distance between them which increased by a single statement of hers
