Jungkook was washing dishes while grumbling about how much his mother and sister ate, calling them gluttons. His mother was praying, and Jungkook sarcastically remarked that by praying, she was trying to absolve herself of her sins. His mother told him to focus on his work, and Jungkook snapped back, saying he was already doing it and didn't need her to remind him.

During breakfast, Jungkook's father complained that he hadn't put sugar in the tea. Jungkook retorted that he had done it on purpose, and his father shrugged. Jungkook's mother asked if the electricity bill had been paid, and his father apologized for forgetting. She sarcastically asked if there was anything he could remember, and his father replied that he remembered his father telling him he had won the lottery and that Christmas would be brighter with a million lights. Jungkook's mother added that her father had told her that her life would be like a bed of roses once her brother's garment business took off.

Jungkook's sister Yeobeen complained about having bread and jam for breakfast again, and Jungkook told her to eat it or make something else herself. He pointed out that at least he was offering different flavors of jam, but his mother scolded him for making jokes in the morning and suggested that his father start making breakfast instead. Jungkook agreed, saying he couldn't handle it anymore, and his father objected but eventually relented.
