Chapter 4

"Jungkook," his father called out. Irritated, Jungkook responded, "What?" His father asked him, "Why are you taking your mom and sister's taunts to heart? Forget it." Jungkook replied, "Well, Dad, Yeobeen is right, isn't she? When no one follows me on the internet, how can I expect someone to spend their life with me?"

His father was taken aback and said, "You are unbelievable. When you already know there are no followers, why don't you delete the account?" Jungkook replied, "Because of him." His father asked, "Who?" Jungkook answered, "Mr. Kim Daehyung's eldest son."

ONE YEAR AGO

"The anchor of the event shouted, 'Listen, listen, listen! Someone is here to entertain you all to the core. The handsome pride of Seoul, Kim Taehyung!' That's when Jungkook saw Taehyung for the very first time, and he was mesmerized by his beauty and voice."

Jungkook searches for Taehyung at the event and finally spots him leaving the venue. He decides to follow him.

Jungkook approached Taehyung, who recognized him from an event where he had said "once more." Taehyung asked why he was there, to which Jungkook replied that he had been waiting for a long time. Taehyung asked if he wanted to hear him sing again, but Jungkook said he was looking for something more than that - a lifelong connection. Taehyung asked if he liked his voice that much, to which Jungkook responded that he liked everything about Taehyung - his voice, his dance, his stance, his face, his grace, his earrings, and even his booty. However, Taehyung warned him that his boyfriend was on his way to take him and would beat him up if he heard what he had said. Jungkook was advised to run for his life.

Jungkook asked Taehyung if he was single. Taehyung replied by asking Jungkook if he thought a boy like him could be single. Jungkook then asked Taehyung if he was in a serious relationship or if he was just having fun. Taehyung refused to answer and asked Jungkook why he wanted to know. Jungkook replied by saying that if Taehyung was not in a serious relationship, he was willing to wait for him. Taehyung asked Jungkook if he wanted to replace his non-serious boyfriend with him. Jungkook clarified that he wanted to be Taehyung's serious boyfriend and was one hundred percent sure about it.

He asked Taehyung, "What is your boyfriend's name?" Taehyung replied, "Park Bogum, and why are you asking that?" Jungkook said, "I don't think Park Taehyung suits you." Taehyung asked, "Oh really? And what is your name?" Jungkook responded, "Jeon Jungkook, and see Jeon fits perfectly with your name Jeon Taehyung." While they were talking, Taehyung's boyfriend came and asked him to sit in the car. They went away without further conversation.
