Chapter 3

Jungkook's father asked his wife if she had seen their son. She replied that he was upstairs. His father went to call him and asked why he looked so down. Jungkook replied irritably that it was because he felt like an orphan. His father was confused and reminded him that he and his mother had conceived him for the first time. Jungkook snapped back, asking when he was going to conceive his children and with whom since he was now the last unmarried bachelor in their street.

Jungkook's mother then called his father, interrupting their conversation. She wanted to talk to someone about a marriage proposal for Yeobeen, but Jungkook seemed annoyed and embarrassed. His mother explained that she felt ashamed that her older son was still unmarried and that if she took Jungkook's proposal to people, they would ask what he did for a living.

 Jungkook argued that he worked hard all day and was not a failure at household work.

Jungkook's sister laughed at their argument, teasing him about his lack of followers on the internet and his chances of finding a boy. Their mother told them to stop fighting and start doing their work.
