I sat in the waiting area of the hospital with a bleeding shoulder, as I waited for my turn. A soft pout on my lips as I looked in my lap and played with my fingers.

I was on my way home from Café when a truck took a wrong turn, clearly breaking law and I swirled the wheels just in time other wise I would have been crushed along with my car. His truck hit the side of my car my window broke. And a shards of pieces went straight into my shoulder. Thankfully I covered my head and turned on the side just in time and didn't hit my head or had any severe injury. The driver didn't even stop once and sped away.i didn't tell dad or else he would have tracked him down and handed him to police. I didn't want a fuss so, I let it go. Also, I didn't want to worry my dad. He was at home today and took a break from the Café we owned. So I was the manager for today and I was exhausted. I sighed. I looked up when a nurse with her cleavage full on show, reached me.

"miss Verena, our CEOs will examine your injury. Their office is at the top floor." She looked me up and down and more like spat at me. I opened my lips to ask why? And whether the doctors were available or not. But she gave me a snarl and glared at me. And continued walking forth. I frowned but shrugged her off.

I got up and made way to the elevator. I got in and pressed for the top floor. I stepped out as I reached there and made way towards the front desk. There was Noone there. I looked around. It was more like a personal condo of a billionaire. The high ceiling were decorated with Crystal chandeliers. The space decorated modernly with expensive furniture. And the place and floor was huge. As far as my eyes reached. I made way towards a direction and sighed as I saw someone. She was the personal assistant. She had just exited a room with a sour look on her face. Her cleavage was on show. She looked up at me and gave me a disgusted look. Looking me up and down. I opened my mouth to ask her the direction of the office of the CEOs. She rolled her eyes at me and pointed towards the room she just left from. I smiled at her and was about to thank her when she nudged my wounded shoulder and continued walking. Her heels ticking on the floor and ringing through all over the quiet place.

A hiss fell from my lips and I grabbed my shoulder. Placing my hand on the wall and trying to take deep breaths. I blinked away the tears and straightened my back and made way towards the office. I knocked on the door lightly.

"come in." a deep husky voice resonated from inside the room and I slowly pushed the door open and stepped in. I closed it behind me and turned around. Two muscular men, dressed in all black greeted with as they stated at me. Their face emotionless as took in my jeans and blouse clad form. They were twins. And you won't be able to tell them apart unless you had a keen eye. The one who was sitting in front of the table had beautiful green eyes with specks of yellow. He had a laptop opened I front of him on his desk. It looked like they were watching something. The one who stood beside him with his bulging arms folded over his chest had beautiful green eyes with brown specks. They both had bulging physics and broad torso, they would easily tower over a regular man. They eat he'd me like hawks and I shifted uncomfortably under that gaze. Was it me or their eyes softened a little.

I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth as a searing hot pain shot from my shoulder. But held their stare. Their eyes shot towards my shoulder.

"Miss Verena. Take a seat" the one standing signaled towards the large sofa. His deep husky voice resonating through the space. He grabbed the supplies and made way towards me.

"thank you." I whispered softly as I took a seat and smiled at them. I felt their eyes widened a little but they quickly covered within millisecond. But my keen eyes and sharp senses caught the change.

He sat beside me and took out the supplies. He looked at me expectantly and I breathed through my nose. I slowly slipped the blouse from over my shoulder. Thankfully it was black so you couldn't see the blood that seeped into the clothes. I uncovered half of the wound.
