Everything went smoothly today. I drove to the university in my car. And got my schedule for classes. The supervisor was friendly. And everyone welcomed me. Whoever I came in contact with. That felt strange though. But I shook my head. I was probably over thinking.

Now, I was sitting in statistics class, halfway through the lecture. This was my fav subject along with mathematics. Probability was on my finger tips. I grinned at the thought.

Professor had asked questions around and when no one answered, I stepped in. This earned me stares of envy and some jealous ones as well. But I didn't pay any heed to those.

I'm just gonna be myself.

The door opened and everyone went quite.

But I didn't pay any attention, keeping my eyes glued to the next question. Having already solved the one that professor was teaching.

Which Median method should be used for this? If we go with Method 1...

I concentrated. Placing the back of the pen under my chin, my eye brows furrowed.

I sucked in a soft breath as I found answer to the problem.

Just as I was about to write, two bulging figures sat on either side of me. Making me look up.

My eyes met green ones.

Jarrel sat on my right while Azriel sat on my left. Caging me in between them. I was sitting at the back of the class and had a full view from the top.

Everyone was staring at them. Their mouth agape. Girls were literally drooling. And I caught some boys as well. I rolled my eyes.

Jarrel waved his hand and professor nodded, continuing with the lesson.

My eye brows rose at the notion. How can he command him in such a way? Did he own this building or something? I mentally snorted at my own thoughts. What are you thinking? That's impossible.

I shook my head and turned to the problem I was solving. Completely ignoring the domineering figures beside me and their intense gazes drilling into the sides of my face.

I felt a hand travel up to my hair as they laid freely on my back. Azriel played with my hair.

"how was your classes?" Jarrel asked me softly.

I ignored him.

I listened to the professor and took notes. Staying with the class as well.

" did anyone bothered you?" Azriel leaned into me as he asked. Tucking in a piece of hair behind my ear.

His hand found mine. Cupping gently and caressing softly. His coarse skin Meeting my milky one. Giving me sparks of electricity. A nice contrast. I missed his touch. I missed them.

I tried to stay focused.

My name was called and I turned my attention. Professor asked me a question. That resulted in moving my hand away from Azriel. He cursed under his breath furiously.

I answered the professor and got back to taking notes as the class continued.

Jarrel's hand snaked up to my thigh. Making me lose my focus.

"miss Verena. Would you like to come here and demonstrate the method for this problem?" asked professor.

I nodded and as I was about to stand up.

Azriel slammed his fist on the table. I flinched and my breathing quickened. The whole table shook and I think I heard cracks. Everything became silent. Deathly silent. Azriel was shooting daggers at the professor and Jarrel was not any different. The class was staring at them like they have seen a ghost. I noticed the professor visibly shook.
