Heeseung didn't not animate himself however, still hypnotized by the candle and the heat which emanated from it coming on his face.

Jake finally made his appearance.
He sat silently on a chair across from Heeseung.

He said nothing not wanting to perturb him.
He just watched him captivated by the glint caused by the glow on his pale face and in his bigs eyes.
He thought he saw a vision in them.

He found him even more beautiful exposed to this light.

Unreal.

He was unreal.

Suddenly a thought hit his mind.

Was he even allowed to think that about him ?

Heeseung was its mentor, his master, his creator.

He was only his disciple.
And yet, thinking about it, he saw no problem there.

Could it be because Heeseung was not an horrible being?

Always open to discussion and always attentive.
He believed that he mattered to him.

Thinking back to what he had told him, his doubts disappeared.

His mentor couldn't despise him after what had happened to him with his own.

But he was wondering anyways.

What would Heeseung think of all this?
Was it only allowed to have these thoughts

It was easy.

His mentor was important to him, extremely.

Maybe he should talk to him about it.
That he helps him to put words on what he felt.
And yet he couldn't see himself trying to talk to him about it.

- Did you killed tonight?

Heeseung's calm voice brought him back to earth.

- No, no, I didn't killed anyone.

His response was nothing more than a simple nod.

- Are you thirsty?

Jake looked up at his interlocutor to fall directly into his gaze which had left the candle.

It only lasted half a second but he had the impression to hear him repeat these words in his head accompanied by a strange image.

And suddenly a smell, a taste came to rest on his lips.

Heeseung was definitely playing in his mind.
He sent him images that were not very precise but understandable.
He saw himself, through one of them, bend over the throat of someone, aspiring the life out.
then he reappeared in the room where he was.
Heeseung looked him in the eyes.

He suddenly felt ill at ease but did not let go of his gaze.

- Heeseung.

He had said his name unconsciously, almost inaudibly.

Something was going on but he didn't know what.

No bit or sound came to disturb the silence that had taken place in the library.

Heeseung stood up, in total silence, only the flickering of the candle flame betraying his movement.

He looked like he was floating as he moved towards him.

- Jake.

He said out loud, leaning close to his ear.

- Are you thirsty?

He had repeated his words with a sweetness that Jake did not know about him.

And yet it was this that made him felt vulnerable, almost frightened.

No words wanted to cross the barrier of his lips, and none of his thoughts were coherent.
The cross hanging from Heeseung's ear brushed his face as well as the ends of his hair.

His body shivered.

He couldn't bring himself to answer.
Too disturbed by the breath from Heeseung which crushed against his neck and his gaze burned him like the sunlight.

- Jake ?

Even if he had spoken his words in the hollow of his ear, it hadn't taken him out of his trance, quite the contrary.
He felt like his first name was ringing in his head as if Heeseung hadn't stopped repeating it.

- Yes..

Without realizing it, he pronounced the word so softly that a mortal could not have heard it.

But Heeseug had heard him.

He sat up without moving, he remained standing at the side of Jake semblant waiting for something.

Jake's gaze remained lost in the void.

Heeseung put his hand on his shoulder still in this heavy silence.

Without a word or a thought they understood each other.

Jake got up in turn but he didn't move either.
Heeseung's hand that was still resting on him moved to cup his neck.
The contact between his icy fingers made him shiver again.

He slowly turns his head and is captured by his mentor's golden irises.
The rest of his body moved in turn as if controlled by the intense gaze of the other vampire.

The hold he had on the junction of his neck tightened.
They were only a few centimeters from each other, they could feel their respective breaths on their faces.

Their eyes still inked
they came a little closer and Jake's lips could then touch the skin of Heeseung's sublime throat.
Who didn't move. Neither does Jake.
He didn't need his oral agreement, he knew what he could.
Jake didn't wait any longer and pierced the cold flesh of Heeseung's neck.
It was the second time he tasted his blood, the second time he drank the blood of one of his fellows.

As the liquid drained he felt his heart beat and his were beating in unison.

It was a new, extraordinary feeling, he didn't want the moment to end, but it couldn't last forever.

He finally saw what Heeseung was thinking at that moment.

He saw this house, peopled with beautiful people, then empty living rooms, books scattered everywhere, one clear, full moon night, then nothing.

Heeseung had separated them.
