"You know what, I don't know what I was thinking." I scoffed. "Maybe I'm just not ready for this. I can't be a mother, but I can't just throw away my whole career for a child."

"What are you saying my love?" Taz asked me, his hand on my arm.

"This, Taz!" I gesture between us. "If I knew me getting pregnant would be a result of this so early I would've waited until I was seriously ready.

"Are you saying you don't want to be with me? Is that it?" Taz asked, starting to back up.

"No, Taz. I just..it. Ugh, Taz, having a baby is a serious matter, we have to both be ready and prepared. We have to make sure we're both mature and stable enough for this."

"We are, aren't we?"

I thought for a moment, was he?

Taking care of a baby is a serious matter. They require feeding, changing, bathing, all your attention.

That's why I say it is better so wait since the both of us have busy careers and can't afford the child's attention just yet.

We have too many things coming up for the both of us that we can't miss.
I just didn't think he realized how serious having a baby is, he doesn't realize it.

"Wait, how do you even know if you ARE pregnant?"

"Taz, it's a possibility. But if I am, you have to promise that you are ready to help, that you are mature enough, that your not going to leave me, that your going to do your part."

"My love, I promise to you...I will promise all these things."

"Good. Thank you, Taz."

That didn't last long.
