Her
Today, we were at park eating our take-out on a picnic blanket. Blaze promised he wouldn't tell Dad about Derek and Zach. Speaking of Derek, I dont think either of us forgotten what happened two days ago.
I still shiver with pleasure every time I see him, because I remember that moment. I can see him smirk at me every now and then because he can smell the 'scent' off me. Stupid werewolf smell.
Me and Savannah were just relaxing in the sun as Derek and Zach running around in their wolf's. I know it's a bad idea to do that in a supposedly public place but I feel bad that they have to stay human when going out and can't run freely, so we went out really early so it's a less chance of anyone seeing.
"What do we do.." Savannah starts, looking up at the clouds with a serious, blank expression. Been a while since I saw one of those. "Are we really raising werewolves to live amongst humans? This is actually insane, not to mention how much fucking trouble we'll get in for this if anyone we can't trust finds out about this."
"I know, I know. Believe me, I've thought that so many times up till now. But we can't do anything about it now. Plus, you don't wanna get rid of your man just as much as I don't wanna lose mine, this'll be better for them to live easier lives knowing people won't try to hunt them in the wild. Plus, we won't be taking their true selves away, just putting them on hold every so often."
This truly was more difficult than I originally thought. On top of teaching the boys how to blend in with humans to properly live with us, I have to get over the fact this is way too fucking wacky to be even considered readable if it were a book! (🥲)
Before getting too far with our conversation, we heard a voice calling from behind, causing us to turn with shock and hope for God sake the boys hid somewhere, a man in a leather jacket and messy blonde hair standing there to greet us.
"Hi, hope I'm not intruding on your ladies day out, was just hoping to get some directions." He starts, showing a warm smile with an outstretched hand, which I kindly took as a way to be friendly, he seemed nice but also new around the place. I lifted off the ground with his help.
"Oh, no worries, we were just enjoying the sun. Are you new to town?" I ask, I knew this place well enough to know he wasn't common, since his clothes don't match the types you can get at the store.
"Yeah actually. Just stopped by on a trip with some pals of mine and was hoping to know some good bars to visit while we're here. Plus, good chance to meet pretty girls like you." He winks, though the gesture seemed just as a harmless tease and made us laugh as we didn't take flirting as flirting anymore since we started dating our wolfmen.
"Well, if you'd like, we can give you a few places that are best known, probably even take you to see some if you aren't convinced. Trust me, I've been to so many, I can tell you the price of the drink there." Savannah laughed, though I tested that once and she got five out of the five I gave her right, so I'm pretty convinced in her statement, but it also made the guy laugh too, thinking she was probably joking.
"I'd like that. Names Adam, pleasure to meet you both." He smiles, doing that casual salute with his two fingers starting at the top of his forehead and out a little.
"Names Rachel, and this is my friend Savannah." I greet, thinking it was nice to meet someone new even if he doesn't stay for very long. Maybe we can still stay in touch later on or something. While Savannah was giving a few names of bars she liked most, we didn't notice the boys from afar, the mood around them suddenly shifting to one of a dark aroma.
Him
"What the hell is he doing here..." Zach muttered, his pupils becoming slightly smaller as he struggles to contain his growing concern. I didn't blame him, for so long, I'd hope to never see that shitty face again.
"I don't care what, we can't let him near the girls. They have no idea how much trouble they're getting into just by acknowledging him."
No. He knows we're here. And he's gonna finish what he started.
Adam... you son of a bitch...
