Part 2

AMITY crying in one of the stalls. She is holding her head and sobbing. LUZ enters the bathroom and knocks on the stall door.

LUZ: (concerned) Amity? Are you in there?

AMITY: (sniffling) Go away.

LUZ: (gentle) No, I won't. Please, let me in.

AMITY: (hesitant) Why?

LUZ: (sincere) Because I care about you. And I want to help you.

AMITY: (sad) You can't help me. No one can.

LUZ: (determined) Don't say that. You're not alone, Amity. You have me. And Willow. And Gus. And Edric. And Emira. And King. And Hooty. And Lilith. And Eda. And...

AMITY: (interrupting) Okay, okay. I get it. You have a lot of friends.

LUZ: (smiling) And so do you. You're part of our family, Amity. And we love you.

AMITY: (touched) You... you do?

LUZ: (affirming) Yes, we do. Especially me.

She leans closer to the stall door and whispers.

LUZ: (softly) I love you, Amity.

AMITY: (surprised) You... you do?

LUZ: (confessing) Yes, I do. More than anything.

AMITY: (moved) Oh, Luz.

She opens the stall door and hugs LUZ. LUZ hugs her back and kisses her forehead.

LUZ: (comforting) It's okay, Amity. It's okay.

AMITY: (calming) Thank you, Luz. Thank you for being here.

LUZ: (supportive) Of course, Amity. I'm always here for you.

They look into each other's eyes and smile. They lean in and kiss. The camera pans out and shows the bathroom door. The door opens and BOSCHA enters. She sees LUZ and AMITY kissing and gasps. She quickly hides behind a corner and watches them.

BOSCHA: (shocked) What the...?

She feels a pang of jealousy and anger in her chest. She clenches her fists and grits her teeth.

BOSCHA: (angry) How dare she? How dare she take Amity away from me?

She remembers the times when she and AMITY were friends. When they used to hang out, laugh, and have fun. When they used to rule Hexside together. When they used to be close.

BOSCHA: (sad) We used to be close. We used to be friends. We used to be...

She stops and realizes something. She feels a warm and fuzzy feeling in her heart. She blushes and covers her mouth.

BOSCHA: (shocked) Oh no. Oh no, no, no. I can't believe it. I can't believe I...

She looks at LUZ and AMITY again. She sees them holding hands and smiling. She feels a surge of pain and regret in her soul. She lowers her head and tears up.

BOSCHA: (whispering) I love her.

She wipes her eyes and runs away, leaving LUZ and AMITY behind.
