i wake up to a bunch of notifications. 'who the fuck is texting me?' i wonder as i scramble to find my phone in my bed. I turn on my phone.

i turn off my phone, a bit stressed out. i look like shit and i'm not sure if i have any clean clothes to wear. i practically fall out of bed and start rummaging through my laundry baskets.
I pick up an MCR shirt. ig this is good enough. i throw on the black mcr shirt and put on a random pair of pants. 'should i style my hair? should i actually look kind of decent? i mean it shouldn't rlly matter if we're just watching a movie ig' i walk to my dresser and put on my usual eyeliner.

4pm- once i'm finished getting ready i go downstairs and have a glass of water. i really don't wanna go to tara's boyfriends house or whatever i'm so tired, but i know it would be better if i did. who knows? maybe her boyfriend is cool and we'll become friends?

tara gave me the address and it's surprisingly pretty close to my house. i hop in my car and start driving.

there's a knock at my front door and i quickly realize it's tara. "Hey tara!" "Hii" she takes off her shoes and sits on the couch. "Johnnie should be here soon" she says while turning on the tv. "Kk." just as she said that the doorbell rang. Tara hopped up from the couch and opened the front door. "JOHNNIE" "hey tara" 'he's kinda hot ngl. WOAH JAKE WHAT THE HELL. U CANT BE OUT HERE THINKING THIS SHIT.'  i suddenly lose my train of thought when tara grabs my arm "johnnie, this is jake. Jake, this is johnnie" tara says excitedly. "hey nice to meet you." he says, holding a hand out for me to shake it. "hi nice to meet u too" i respond shaking his cold hand. "GUYS! come here look there's a new movie" Tara exclaimed sitting on the couch, remote in hand. "why are you so energetic today?" johnnie questioned while laughing. 'his smiles rlly cute. JAKE SHUT UP.'  i think cringing at my own thoughts. i'm straight anyways. "I had a lot of caffiene and i love movies duh" tara replied. Johnnie sits next to tara, and i sit next to johnnie. tara turns on a movie. "ok everyone be quiet i need to pay attention" tara says, staring at the tv intently. we do as she says and watch the tv.

we're all sitting on the couch watching a movie i found pretty boring. i forgot to have some energy drinks today so i'm so fucking tired. 'Maybe i could just close my eyes for a second... ' i think as i slowly drift off

i'm paying very close attention to the movie whenever i'm interuppted out of my trance by a head resting on my shoulder. johnnie fell asleep. my heart starting beating faster. i appeared unbothered but my thoughts were racing. 'jake shut the fuck up it's literally not even a big deal. I KNOW BUT BUT OMG OMG OMG HES SO CUTE. no jake, no. you're straight and johnnie probbaly is too.' ughh why can't i stop thinking this shit it's so annoying.

The movie is sadly over and Tara wakes up johnnie which is even more sad than the movie ending. "are you gonna stay the night?" tara inquired, sleepily. "nah probably just gonna head home." johnnie responded, yawning. "Before you go, could i get ur number?" 'woah that sounds like i'm trying to date him wtf i just wanna talk to him what if he thinks i'm weird kms' "yeah sure!" he exclaimed and gave me his phone to put my contact in.
"Bye guys." johnnie says opening the front door . "bye johnnie" me and tara say in sync.

I get in my car and start to drive home. I thought the movie was so boring but Jake was watching it so attentively. 'it was kinda adorable. EW EW EW STOP'  i cringe at myself. obviously Jake is straight anyways. and so am i obviously. right?
