7:30pm
me and johnnie didn't do much today, we just talked a bit. i can't help but feel awkward, i don't know why though. johnnies upstairs getting ready for the movie, tara and her friend will be here soon.
*DOORBELL*
johnnie runs down the stairs and opens the front door. "hey tara!!" i yell from the couch. "guys come on we're gonna be late!!!!!" tara exclaims motioning us outside. "tara calm down the first 30 minutes is ads anyway" johnnie says while putting on his shoes. tara rolls her eyes and gets in the car.

7:33pm
tara is driving, johnnie is in the passenger seat, and me and tara's friend are in the back. i wish me and johnnie were sitting together. i thought while looking out the window okay i need to stop being clingy we literally live together now. and besides, we're just friends anyway.

johnnie pov-
7:40pm
we walk inside the cinema and go up to the ticket booth. we buy our tickets and begin walking to the theater. "can we get popcorn pleasee" tara begs. "yeah sure" jake says. i really don't want popcorn, hopefully no one will notice if i don't eat it. tara buys popcorn and we go into the theater.

8:00
we sit at the third to top row, tara's friend on the end, then tara, then jake, then me. after about 30 minutes of ads (just like i said there'd be) the movie finally starts with a creepy ass jumpscare, which of course, makes me jump. "hahaha cant believe that scared you" jake teased and i laughed. "GUYS SHUT THE HELL UP" tara whisper yelled, which made me laugh harder.

"you want some popcorn?" jake offers. "nah im good" "dude you have to try it it's like literally the best popcorn i've ever had" he says while taking a big handful. "ehh i'm not too hungry" i say. "how are you not hungry i haven't seen you eat anything today" jake questions, suspiciously. shit what the fuck, how do i lie my way out of this?? "you just didn't see me eat but i did" FUCK THAT WAS TERRIBLE THATS SO OBVIOUS  "yeah alright buddy" jake says sarcastically.

jake pov-
this movie isn't too scary, and just as i thought that, a jumpscare happened. i grabbed on to johnnies leg, but quickly let go. "sorry" "nah it's okay, you can keep it there" he says and i put my hand on his thigh. obviously he's just being nice and doesn't want me to be scared this isn't gay. right??

9:20pm
after the movie-
(still jake pov)
after the movie, we get in the car. "wanna come back to our place and hangout for a little bit?" i ask. "sure! i actually really want to do this one tiktok with you guys pleaseee" tara whines and continues driving. "fine i guess" johnnie sighs. "yeah i want to!" me and tara's friend say.

9:30pm
we make it back to the house and immediately tara sets up her phone to do a tiktok. "shit it's almost dead." she says and pulls her charger out of her bag and plugs her phone in.

10:20pm
we made a couple of tiktoks and tara and her friend are now leaving. me and johnnie stand in my bedroom saying bye to them. "bye johnnie bye jake" tara says and she shuts the door behind her. i sit on my bed and tension fills the room. johnnie sits next to me, close enough that our shoulders are touching. we don't say anything for a couple of seconds. johnnie looks at me and we make eye contact. i look at his lips then back to his eyes.
he puts his hand under my chin and pulls me into a kiss, but he pulls away quickly. "sorry, you probably hate me" he says and looks down. without saying anything, i kiss him.
after a long kiss, we lay down and listen to music until we fall asleep. i guess i am gay.
