"You did well to return," Kagaya said while the wheezing crow in his hands caught its breath, "So most of my children have been slaughtered? We might find the Twelve Kizuki there, then." his breathly voice soothed the people around him.
"it seems like I'll have to send in the Haishira," he stated as his two daughters; Nichika and Hinaki looked behind them. "Giyuu" he spoke, "Shinobu" he added as the two voiced an 'understood!'.
"If only humans and demons could get along," Shinobu remarked "Don't you agree Tomioka?" she asked "Immposible..." he started, "..as long as demons eat humans."
"Also bring Y/N with you," Kagaya insisted "and after the mission bring her here." he finished and with the help of his daughters, he got up and left. The two Haishiras' hearts fluttered at the sound of Y/Ns name "Oh my! Y/Ns coming too, how delightful!" Shinobu smiled and clasped her hands together as Giyuu's eyebrows lifted a bit.
"T-Mi-o-Ka! Aren't you glad that we will be able to see Y/N again?" Shinobu teased while poking his arm, Giyuu ignored her and somewhat teleported/sped away.
"Aww," Shinobu's smile then went away as darkness shaded over her face "I'll finally get to meet with you again Y/N...and maybe this time I'll be able to keep you." she said and then sped away.
Shinobu soon joined Giyuu as they were running through the woods both were quiet, yet had thousands of thoughts blazing through their minds. After a few minutes of running, they finally found the H/C girl.
"Giyuu? Shinobu? what are you guys doing here?" a low, smooth voice spoke. Giyuu felt his face getting hotter at the sound of her voice its been quite a while since he heard her soothing sound.
"Oyakata-sama sent us to you...He said for you to join us on a mission" Giyuus's monotone hid the excitement he felt, "Me? but I'm not a Haishira.." Y/N was confused as to why Oyakata-sama would always send her with the Haishiras on missions she's not even a fully demon slayer crops member.
"Oh my, Y/N you've gotten more beautiful since the last time I saw you!" Shinobu rejoiced she was happy to see her little butterfly still up and healthy, yet she forgot what they were here for.
