"This isn't some show, you know."

Y/Ns eyes widened as she saw a boy with ruffled, black hair with burgundy tips walk out from behind the tree he was hiding behind. Y/N sighed in relief, knowing that Rui was talking to him and didn't spot her.

"W-what are you doing?" the tanned boy asked the demon warily. "Aernt you two friends?" he continued shocked at how the demon was hurting his "friend" in such a way.

"Friends?" Rui asked slightly raising one eyebrow confused "Don't put us in the same category as something that flimsy," he then stretched out the spider web he made to hurt the bleeding girl "We're family" He added "We're connected by a strong bond" 

Y/N was appalled at the scene, feeling disgusted at Rui for thinking that way. She thought 'No...Family wouldn't do that...they wouldn't hurt somebody of their own blood and claim that they have a strong bond' At this moment she felt strong abhor for Rui, despising him as he reminded her of her father. 

"This is between me and my sister, so don't interfere...or I'll carve you up." he threatened, pulling up the spiderweb between his fingers to further state his warning.  The dark red-haired boy held his breath before speaking. "You're wrong!" he shouted before looking down.

"Whether you're family or friends, if you have a strong bond, then both are just as precious!" a mix and hot and cold sweat formed and dripped off his forehead, "calling it flimsy if you're not related by blood..." he looked up, making eye contact with Rui "is not true at all!" Y/N was shocked, to say the least.

She felt like she had met him before, yet she just couldn't bring herself to remember where she had. 

"Not only that, but those who have a strong bond give off a scent of trust!" The boy continued, "But all I'm picking up from you two is the scent of terror, hatred, and loathing!" he informed Rui."That's not what you call a bond. " At this point, Y/N was unsure of whether to join in and help the boy defeat Rui or not. 

"It's fake! It's forged!" After saying that, the crying girl looked surprised and caught off guard by what he said while Rui was pissed, his teeth clenched.

"You.." Rui's face quivered, just then another demon slayer crops member joined in, "Hey! look at that size, a demon that's just the right size." The unknown character walked forward to the two "Even I can take down a kid demon like this one." he boasted a smirk planted on his face.

"Hold on, please!"  The boy with the scar pleaded before he was cut off."You can just stay back! I want to take the safe route up the ladder!" he exclaimed, holding up his sword.

"And a higher rank means more money from on high! My units have practically been wiped out, but I'll slay myself a decent-sized demon and head down the mountain! Take this, " the black-haired boy lunged at Rui.

"Don't do it! Stop!" the checkered haori yelled, yet it was too late for the noir. Thin strings of spider-web swung from Rui's fingertips 'crap! I'll just jump in then.' Y/N thought and unsheathed her turquoise sword, slicing the webs in an instant.

Rui looked behind him as he blushed  'It's her,'  he thought, The boy with the black sword's eyes widened as it almost looked like his eyes formed into pupils.

Y/N stood in a protective stance standing in front of the former confident character looking back at him before looking at the red-eyed boy standing in shock.  

"You.. what's your name?" Y/N calmly asked, looking at the boy."I-Im Tanjiro Kamado.." He mumbled, seeming shy.

His red face looked at Y/N 'Have I seen her before?  I feel like I had smelt that scent before... She smells..so Nice...most of the time.. demon slayers honestly wouldn't smell even pleasant, but...hers it's exceptional. It's almost addictive.'   he figured. "Excuse me, are you alright?" Y/N asked. 

"Please marry me," 

"What?"
