The name we all knew, the tales we all heard, the feeling only few of us felt.
This is her story,
The one who was cherished by everyone.
Apple of her brother's eyes.
She, who claimed to be the favourite of Arjuna,
Subhadra,
The daughter of Vasudeva

Brother Balarama was a man of his words, indeed. After much pleading he finally agreed to let me spend some alone time outside.
And here iam subhadra alone with my pretty horse, Anasuya. Who has more excitement than i do. She has been my best Friend for years. More like a guardian to me now.Her white hairs and classy look reminded me of a young maiden from the old vedic texts. So i gave her the name Anasuya.
I exhale in bliss when the cold wind hits my nostrils. I welcomed the cool breeze to touch every nook and corner of my body. No matter how much beauty the golden walls of dwaraka posses, there was a world beyond outside it.The one i want to investigate and explore untill i die. That's how much i adore this land. Dwaraka.
After a while i became aware of someone following me.i should have known that brother balarama would never allow me to wander off by myself. The guards were watching me while they were away on their horses.
Its time to teach a lesson to my narayni sena. I leaned over and whispered in Anasuya's ears. "You know what to do, Right?"
She jumped high as the result of the rope i pulled on her.which caused my body to curve. She rode fastly in the speed of light keeping me in air.
I burst out laughing as i looked at the mere shadows of my poor soldiers far away.
I was startled out of my thoughts by Anasuya's neigh. I knew i had reached when i inhaled Jasmine 's aroma all around.
This is shanthivana. My favourite place in dwaraka. The common misconception among non-natives are that we dwaraka's people reside inside the ocean.
Not at all,we do have prosperity and greenery than any other location in Bharatavarsha. Small streams that ran through dense forest gave way to cascade and lengthy sarayu river, which enters the sea. Everything is breathtaking here.
And shanthivana was a prohibited area.It is quite far away from the city. Except for the forest's little inhabitants and nobody lives here. This location is permitted for the stay and hospitality of hermits travelling to dwaraka. As a result no commoners are allowed here.
The countless flowers were its main attraction. I tied Anasuya into a massive tree and walked over to the ashram near the waterfall.
my sword was placed neatly on my waist.i may be naive because of my age but not dumb to go out on my own with out any safety precautions.
Walking inside the ashram i traced my left hand through the wall's inscriptions and carvings. It depicted heaven, gods, kings and so on i was always amazed by these.
I stood under the waterfalls for a long time before taking a seat on the tree's trunk. The thick curved branches were fit for me.My comfort level increased there that thought i would much rather sleep here than in my silken bed for my rest of my life.
The one thing im sure about that i will be eternally grateful to my brothers for dwaraka. I grew up hearing stories of my parents suffering under the cruelties of kansa, my evil uncle. That's why the moment i was born tbey determined to let any trivial pain hit me.
That's what they always do loving, caring and pampering. They knew that despite my silly mischievousness and disobedience i wasn't a pampered brat.
How could i? When i have the best philosophical brother in the entire world? Who had answers for all of my questions. Sometimes i asked questions that are unrelated, to twist him. But as i became older i realised that no question could make him tonguetied.
Vasudeva krishna was the most straight forward person to ever exist. But for me he was a puzzle. An unsolved problem for ever.
It's nearly afternoon, my heart's aches at the thought of returning back to palace. I released Anasuya's tether and proceed to walk carefully.
Soon after as i was about to exit the jungle. Another horse suddenly sprung up startling me. Then i realised that it's him. But how did he knows that i would be here. My brothers? No, they had no idea.
The man jumped from his horse and walked towards me making me nervous all of sudden. God iam so dead now.
