Don't Say Anything

Eren's POV

I really couldn't believe that I actually slept in the same room with horseface and I'm still alive. I was sure he was gonna try something but he just fell asleep.

I stood from under the covers in my boxers and a t-shirt. Yawning as I put on my pants that I threw off in the middle of the night and headed out the door, back to my dorm at 1:01.

I poked my head in, no one was there. Thank God.

I flopped onto my bed, looking around the room to see Armin's empty bed.That's right, I have to talk to Mikasa. After laying in bed for a few minutes I began to text Mikasa.

With that I met Mikasa at the coffee shop. While I drank my coffee waiting for her to start the conversation.

"So what happened?" She sighed taking a sip of her coffee. I fidgeted before answering.

"I-I kissed Armin......" I trailed off after confessing. Mikasa's eyes light up in joy.

"I don't see the problem!" She exclaimed happily

"But I ran away" I admited looking down. It became silent when I looked up she suddenly hit me right upside the head. "Ow!! What was that for!!" I pouted while rubbing the part of my head that stung from the slap she threw at it.

"For being a fucking idiot that's what!" She shouted causing everyone in the shop to turn their heads towards us. I smiled shyly.

"God, both you and Armin are idiots," she continued "Armin has been telling me since middle school that he's a had crush on you" Mikasa confessed. He what? I heart grew warmth. Armin likes me? I was so happy I couldn't believe it. "But he couldn't tell you because you we're always with women." Mikasa finished and took another sip from the cup.

I was the cause of Armin's suffering? The warmth turned into coldness. Damn it!

"If I were you I'd let him know my feelings. Say it and say it now or don't say anything" Mikasa slurped up some more of her beverage.

How could I have been so oblivious. That explains why every time I introduced him to my girlfriends at school he'd glare at them. I sighed in disappointment to my own patheticness. After having a conversation with Mikasa about I don't know what because I just spaced out thinking of Armin. Mikasa told I could go look for Armin so I went out to search for him.

I hurried to the cafeteria checking if he was there to see a whole group of thug looking guys getting scolded at by a tall well built man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He must be a teacher. I moved on to the line that was empty because lunch time was over except for a woman that seemed to be arguing with the lunch lady. The woman had her brunette hair pulled into a messy ponytail and she wore glasses, she also had a lab coat on. Is she a teacher too? I approached her.

"Um excuse me?" I asked politely tapping her shoulder. She then turned her undivided attention to me. I tensed up to the look that her big brown eyes gave me. "Have you seen a short guy with blonde hair and big blue eyes?" Thinking I wasn't making myself clear, I made a circle shape with my fingers put them over my eyes. "His eyes are l-like this big, and blue"

I heard her giggle under her breath. "No I haven't, sorry" she apologized with a laugh. Right when I was starting to walk away she stops me. "Hey kid could you help me out?" I can't say no to a teacher. If she is one.

"S-sure" I said hesitantly. As I stood next to her.

"Can you tell that old bat over there to give you two trukey sandwiches, I'll give you the money for them." She explained. In response I nodded. Why would she want me to do such a tedious task? But I obeyed her request. Walking up to the counter and asking for the sandwiches, the lady gives me them with a smile. I hand them to the woman in the lab coat.

"Sorry for asking, but what do you need them for?" I wondered. She looked at me with excitement.

"I'm glad you asked!" She exclaimed with the sandwichs snuggled in her arms. "Follow me" she demanded. The look she gave me as if she had over did it with the pills kinda creeped me out. I did what I was told and followed her all the way to the other side of the building into a class room.

In that classroom there was cage with three rats behind the bars. I admired them for a while, there was a brown rat, a black rat and a white rat. The white one kinda reminds me of Armin..... right! I have to go look for Armin! After remembering my true intentions of getting out the dorm, I was about excuse myself and leave.

As I turn to leave she tosses one of the sandwiches at me "feed them" she commanded, I nodded nervously. I wonder what she would have done if I refused? The thought sent shivers down my spine. It was obvious that the classroom I was dragged to was a science classroom with the counters and stools behind them also the weird colored liquids on the surface. I didn't want to get dissected so I obeyed her every command.

I ripped the sandwich into little pieces for the rats to nipple on and threw them into the cage through the bars.

"Hey kid, what's your name?" She asked as I turned to her. She was sitting on the surface of the desk, munching on a sandwich.

"E-Eren Jaeger, ma'am" I stuttered. This woman really is the classic mad scienctist.

"Ma'am? How old do you think I am?" She chuckled in mischief.

"T-That's not what I-" I was cut off suddenly from her hopping off the desk and her standing next to me in front of the cage that belonged to the rats.

"I was having trouble making up a name for them. What do you think? Mr. Jaeger?" She asked with a smirk.

"I-I think..the white one should be called A-Armin" I mumbled. She smiled sweetly.

"That's perfect! The brown should be...... Chibi and the black one........ Miku" she explained and turned to me with a look for my approval, I nodded in agreement. What if I said no? The image of her looking through my guts to use for her experiments really scared me.

"You're the first person who hasn't rejected my offer of assistance" That's no surprise. She continued "but, they were great help for my experiments" she turned to me, in a evil smirk. EXPERIMENTS?!? she started to chuckle to the expression that I made about the concern of my own safety. "Oh I almost forgot the name's Hanji Zoe" she greeted reaching over to take my hand. "I'm your science teacher, Mr. Jaeger" Hanji laughed. I smiled sheepishly. Checking the time as if an excuse to leave, it was
7:23.

"I have to go Ms. Hanji" I excused my self, and Hanji agreed to let me leave. I ran through the hallway and turned so many corners. How many fucking hallways does this college have?!?! Finally turning the corner I could see my dorm door. Hoping that Armin was studying behind it. But I got stopped by a girl on my way to opening the door.

"Excuse me Eren you said that you wanted to be in the play?" The girl asked I nodded quickly. I don't have time for this.

"I was, but I have to go right now." I said with a smile but the girl explained to me that since I didn't show up for the tryouts I have to act right there in the hallway. The reason I wanted to be in the play was because Armin couldn't stop talking about it and I was thinking if I was in the play then I could impress him. So with the thought of Armin I practiced one line with the girl in fornt of me and made her blush. I'll be with you soon, Armin. After the girl left I opened the door to an empty room. Armin? I sat on my bed, where is he? At the time I didn't know that play had ruined everything.
