Armin's POV

Eren's dad was awkward. For example he bought an apartment by the college and I came over to help him unpack, (Eren's classes had a different schedule today, so I said what the heck and went skipping to help Girsha) I scared Girsha shitless. I didn't mean to but it was hilarious. I don't even know how I scared him, I had knocked on the door so many times and when I just decided to go in I yelled that I was here but I still managed to scare him out of his mind. He apologized countless times for begin a bitchy dad to Eren... okay he didn't say bitchy but that's what I'm gonna say.

Despite being more awkward than Eric from happy feet two (do you guys remember that movie? You know, Happy Feet Two. I liked that shrimp, he was funny^∇^) Eren's dad was clumsy and timid, which was weird. Considering the way Eren had described him to me before. But none the less Girsha wasn't such bad company.

"Alrighty!!!! I'm done here, see ya later Girsha" I exclaimed happily placing the last book in the shelf beside the rest of them, I whipped around with a smile to see Girsha returning it with a grin as he placed and empty box on the floor.

"Good bye Armin, tell Eren I said hello." He waved me good bye as I skipped up to the door, swinging it open, giving Girsha a last glance with a toothy grin before lolling down the apartment hall way with doors to other homes.

I finally made it to the parking lot with a joyful stride, I climbed into my car ready to turn on the engine but the ringing of my phone stopped me. I frowned curiously taking the phone from my back pocket seeing the ID to be a unknown number, confused I denied the call placing my phone on the seat next to me.

Weird. I shook my head clearing my thoughts and actually started the engine, once I was on the almost empty road, driving calm my phone rang once more.

I looked at it to see the same number from before, I raised a brow, snatching it from the seat just when the light had turned green, I answered the phone this time holding it up to my ear as I started to drive again.

"Hello?" I asked hesitantly

"Hello. Is this Armin Arlert?" A woman asked roboticly, I frowned again this time I was getting nervous.

"Y-yes, t-this is Armin" I responded at last.

"Well Mr. Armin Arlert, your grandfather, (A/N hold up what is Armin's grandpa's name???) Was sent to the hospital for heart failure" she spoke nonchalantly without a a care in the world, I, on the other hand was any thing but.

My blood had run cold, the color from my face was drained and I was frozen, the hand that was steering the wheel was dropped onto my lap and I couldn't see straight, everything was dizzy, and my head ached, grandpa was going to die.

I felt the car go out of control and I heard a few honks, but everything was a haze, that is until, I was hit from the front of my car by what I assumed was another car, pain exploded from my head as it connect with the steering wheel with glass flying everywhere stabbing my skin, littering blood spots around and my legs were electrified with agony that shot through as I gave a delayed yelp, my body went limp, I felt numb, I couldn't feel a thing. Expected for my heart's throbbing pain.
