Here the demon arc never takes place, Sabre is still in the Rainbow Kingdom but met the profesor anyway.
Sabre walked quickly towards the abandoned library, knowing it was only a matter of time before someone noticed that the rainbow crystal back at the citadel had been swapped with a fake. He didn't really wanna do this, and was already thinking how to explain this to the leaders if he wasn't successful. But regardless of all that, he knew he had to try.
He looked up to see M waiting for him. He didn't say anything, just offered him his hand. Sabre took it, and, with a flash of light, he found himself in the professor's lab.
"Sabre, I'm gonna ask you this one more time, are you sure you want to do this?" M asked, obviously not liking the idea.
"Believe me, I've thought this through. I'll be fine."
Just then, Professor Red entered the room.
"Oh, Sabre, good to see you. So just to be sure, if I help you with this, you'll let me run some tests on you, right?"
"With M there and nothing that could cause me harm, yes."
"Ehhh, details. So then, can I have the crystal?"
Sabre handed it over and the professor put it in the machine that lately had been occupying half of his basement. After a quick check-up on the redstone, he flicked the lever.
Lightning striked all over the place, for sure earning the professor an earful about lab safety from his leader. As it slowly came to a stop, a person could be seen standing in the middle of the machine, holding the crystal. A person Sabre was dying to see again.
"Orange Steve?"
"Sabre, you... I... you brought me back..."
Orange tackles Sabre to the ground, crying and hugging him.
"I missed you..."
