Book One-Chapter two: Time-laps

Once they were all teenagers, Taki felt a bit unease. She heard how Subaru had killed his own mother, how Reiji killed Beatrix and the fact that the triplets just killed Cordelia, who she learned was her cousin. She was terrified of all five of them, she didn't know what to do so she hid herself within the forest and hoped they'd never come find her.

Unlucky for her, all of them were concerned for her. They didn't want her to get the wrong idea. All of them adored Taki, all of them wanted her to know their feelings for her but none of them could find her. The only one who had an idea of where she'd be was Shu, he knew that she enjoyed nature. So he went to find her without a word. He soon found her by a tree and hugged her tightly as she had tackled him down when she saw him.

"S-Shu...Shu I'm so scared!"

"Don't worry, none of them are going to harm you. Everything they've done was for your safety." Shu said as he placed a hand on the top of her head softly

She held on the Shu tightly. "R-Really?"

"Yeah, why don't you come back with me and I'll have them explain everything to you." Shu said with a nod

She nodded her head "O-Okay just this once."

Taki walked back to the manor with Shu holding tightly with her arm as she refused to let go of him. She was so terrified of the others she didn't know what to think or do. When she was in one of the sitting rooms she held on to Shu tightly as the others came into the room. They were all relieved to see that she was okay.

"Shu where did you find her?" Ayato asked curiously

"In the forest, you all scared her." Shu said seriously

Kanato frowned as he went up to her and held her free hand in his. "We wouldn't ever harm you, you're the only female that we all agree that we like. Don't be afraid Taki." Kanato said sincerely to her

"S-Shu said that you all did what you did to keep me safe...i-is that true?" Taki asked scared

"Yes, that is in fact true. Beatrix had wanted to sell you off because she hated how Shu and I were both very kind to you. She apparently didn't like that." Reiji said with his arms crossed

"My mother heard of you and wanted to kill you, as much as I cared for my mother...She was mentally unstable. I did what I had to do." Subaru said with a sigh

"And Cordelia...she hated it that all three of us got so close to you. She was jealous of how beautiful you are Taki. She wanted us to kill you instead, but we couldn't ever do that to you, so we did it to her instead" Laito said as he went behind the couch she was on and kissed her cheek softly. "You bring all six of us joy and happiness. You'll stay here with us...won't you?"

Taki blushed as she looked up at the brunette male before she smiled. "Yes, I'll stay here. With the six of you is where I feel at home and safe."

Kanato smiled before he pulled her into him and nuzzled his face into the top of her head. "Good, this is where you belong."

Taki closed her eyes as she held on to Kanato tightly. "I want to thank all of you for keeping me safe, I should have asked before going off like I did. I'm sorry for worrying all of you."

"As long as you stay how you are, none of us have an objection to having you here Taki." Reiji said seriously

She opened her eyes and looked to Reiji. "I'll never change."

All of the males spoke with her for a bit longer before a letter was given to Reiji from one of the butlers. He read it to all of them stating that soon there will be a woman there to be on trial for one of them as a sacrificial bride. Hearing that Taki vanished from the room and all six of went searching for her but none of them could find her. They all went to her room as a last resort only to see her hiding under her bed.
