It was late when Wonwoo returned from Jihoon's studio. He planned to check on Chan first but decided to take a shower and change before doing so. As he walked towards his room, he noticed that the door was already open. Upon entering, he saw that the light next to the bed was on and someone was sleeping in his bed. He thought it might be Mingyu or Hoshi, who often uses his computer to play games and probably fell asleep there. But when he walked towards his bed, he saw Chan sleeping peacefully there. His heart warmed, and a small smile appeared on his face. Chan was fast asleep, hugging Wonwoo's pillow close to his chest. He carefully sat on the bed beside the sleeping boy

he can't remember the exact moment he started falling in love with the younger, but he knows it has been a while. And all this time, his feelings have only become stronger. He gently parted the hair falling on his face, leaned in, and softly kissed Chan's forehead. chan stirred in his sleep and nuzzled his face into the pillow. wonwoo got up and went to take a shower.

While Wonwoo was in the shower, Chan's phone rang, waking him up.He looked around and realized that he was still in Wonwoo's room. Wonwoo's bag was resting on the couch, and he could hear the sound of the running shower, indicating that he had returned. Chan grabbed the phone from the bedside table and noticed it was his mom calling. He sat upright and answered the call.

"Hy mom," he said.

"Chan ah. hi sweetie did I wake you up" he heard his mom's voice. He couldn't remember the last time he spoke to his mom. It's not that he didn't want to; he missed her. But with everything that was happening to him, he didn't want her to worry. However, now he thinks she knows.

"no I am awake," he said composing himself.

"Chan Ah, how are you?" his mother asked. Her voice sounded so gentle that Chan felt like crying. He really missed her.

"I-I am fine, Mom," he managed to say. There was silence on the line for a few seconds, and then his mom replied,

"I talked with Seungcheol today." Her voice sounded hesitant. Chan remained silent, expecting his mom to scold him.

"you could have called baby" he can hear the worry in her voice. he couldn't help but let his tears fall.

"I- I am sorry," he let out, trying not to sound like he was crying.

"I am not mad, Chan Ah. I am just worried about you," his mother said. He didn't reply, he just stayed there, staring at his hand.

"Would you like to come home and stay for a few days, Chan?" his mother asked. Chan had thought about it. His house was his favourite place, and he missed it so much. He missed his father, he missed his mother, he missed his brother. Not that he doesn't like it here. He loves his dorm and his members, but some days he wishes he could just go home, hug his mother, and cry in her arms.

"I would like that," he said.

"We could go to your grandmother's house. you like it there don't you?" she asked. chan smiled even though his mother couldn't see him.

"yeah I do," he said with a chuckle.

"tell me whenever you are ready and I will send your father to pick you up okay," she said.

"Okay... and hy mom?"

"Yeah"

"I love you" he knows he doesn't say it much but he really wants her to know that he does.

"I love you too son. call me okay"

"Okay," he said and ended the call.

He looked out of the window and saw the moon shining in the dark sky. He had always enjoyed the tranquillity of the night, but he knew he couldn't continually remain in the darkness, no matter how comforting it felt. He had to embrace the light to mend the harm he had caused to himself, both mentally and physically. It would be difficult to stay away from the members after being together for such a long time, but he had to make this choice. He wanted to be selfish for once and do something solely for himself.
