A/N: Picture of Bailey
-------------------------
Amarah's POV/ thoughts
As I walked out of class with Bailey to go to lunch, I saw my guy best friend.
"Omar!" I called.
He looked at me and I ran to him and have him a hug. Then he touched my butt.
He's the only person that will touch my butt and I won't really care (unless I have a boyfriend) because he's my best friend.
"Hey," he said to me. He looked at Bailey. "Hey Bailey."
She smiled.
"How's eleventh grade so far?" I asked him.
"Good, I guess."
"Well, we gotta get going, and go to lunch," Bailey said as she grabbed my arm. We walked to the cafeteria.
"Mar!" Deayana called and ran to me.
"Oh, so we calling each other by our nicknames now? Okay, what's up, Yana?" I said.
"Nothing." She looked at Bailey. "Hey, Lee Lee."
Bailey she laughed. I realized that our nicknames are a little ghetto.
"So, yeah, but I made a new best friend. And where's the library?" Deayana asked. "What about you're other best friend, Melanie?" I asked. "I don't like her, she's fake, and since we were so close and didn't have time to hang out with other people, I have to make new friends, which I did. Now.... where's the library??" She asked again.
"Down the hall, make two lefts, then go up the stairwell and then make a right, and then it's right there," Bailey instructed.
"Thank you!" She looked at me. "At least, someone told me right away," she said to me and walked away. She's annoying.
Bailey and I started walking again. "Wait hold up," I said. Bailey rolled her eyes. "What now?"
"I forgot my notebook in Mr. Samuels class."
She sighed. "Oh my God."
"Just go without me and save me a seat. Or.... uh.... talk to Deion." I pointed to Deion once I noticed he was about fifteen feet away from us.
"Bye!" I ran away.
I got to his class a couple minutes later. As I was about to walk in, I bumped into him.
"Oh sorry," I said.
"No, I'm sorry, I was just heading out to go get coffee," he said.
"I left my notebook here."
"The pink cheetah print one? That was you who left it? Okay."
We both walked in. "It's right here," he said as he pointed to his desk.
"Thank you."
We both reached for it. I guess he was trying to be polite and get it for me. So I was okay with that.
The thing that was weird though was that my hand was on the bottom and he didn't remove his hand from on top of mine and we just stood there.
He smiled at me.
Okay, that's it, this is getting too weird.
I snatched my hand away.
"Thanks," I said.
I grabbed my notebook and walked out of the classroom as fast as I could.
Let's hope he wasn't staring at my ass while I was walking out either, little weirdo! Can I switch homerooms?
