Amarah's POV/ thoughts

I walked to Bailey's because I needed the comfort of my other best friend. This is all my fault.

I knocked on the door. She answered less than a minute later. She was wearing a flannel with no pants, I think we all no what that means.

That means we both had sex today.

"Did you guys have--?"

"Oh, no!" She interrupted. "I'm wearing short shorts. I also changed because my other shirt was itchy."

"Oh." I looked down.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I wanna tell you upstairs."

"Okay."

We walked upstairs and Deion was laying on her bed.

"Deion, go downstairs," I demanded.

"Who is you?!"

"Your sister, your older sister, now go!"

He rolled his eyes and left the room.

"So what happened?" Bailey asked.

I sighed. "Well--"

My phone rang. "Hello?" I answered.

"Where are you?" My mom asked.

"No 'hi'?"

"Don't get smart. Where are you?"

"Bailey's."

"You left the door unlocked, now you gotta come home," my mom ordered.

I sighed. "Fine."

"And bring Deion home too, because I know he's there."

I laughed. My mom is too funny. "Okay. Bye." I hung up.

"What?" Bailey asked. "I gotta go home," I said.

"Okay."

I hugged her and we said our goodbyes. Then I told Deion we had to leave and he was mad but oh well. Then we got home a few minutes later.

-----

The next day I got up feeling upset, and school was even worse.

When I was walking through the halls with Bailey. I spotted Omar. My immediate thought was to not do anything, but I need to speak to my best friend. I miss him already.

"Wait, here," I told Bailey. She scoffed. "I ain't no dog," she said. I sighed and walked up to Omar. "Hey," I greeted. He rolled his eyes. "Omar please, talk to me," I begged.

"What the hell do you want?" He mumbled why staring at his phone not even looking at me.

"You." Hold up, that sounded thottie. "I mean, to make up with you," I corrected.

"Oh well." He was still staring at his phone.

"Omar, I don't wanna fight. I need you. I need my best friend. We've been best friends since we were four, that's a lot of years, I can't just lose you now. Especially now since I gave you my virginity. I made a vow that whoever took my virginity, I have to still be talking to them because if not, I'd feel like garbage. Omar, I love you, I can't lose you."

He put his phone in his pocket and finally looked at me. "You should've thought about that when you tried to end us. You wanna know something? You were my first too."

Oh my God.

"And you were just gonna act like nothing happened so you could mess around with your teacher. But something DID happen. I couldn't take it," he continued. He sighed and walked away.

A tear rolled down my eye.

Bailey walked up to me and hugged me. "Whatever happened yesterday, did it have to do with him?"

I wiped my tear. "Yes."
