Ada was only seven years old when she had been surrendered to the foster home, only a small suitcase and a stuffed rabbit named Mr. Carrots trailed along with her. Her mother and father dropped her off then, leaving her with only the words "goodbye" yet again.
Mr. and Mrs. Gray decided they didn't want children after all, thinking they were too costly and were too much of a pain to handle for 18 years until they could go off on their own. At least she had her brother. Until she didn't.
Adam Gray was soon adopted by a loving couple, leaving Ada all alone in the shabby foster home. She realized after he left, he didn't give one single shit about her. Matter of fact, nobody here did. It was all a war to them, who would get the most loving and caring family out there. And Ada didn't have a single advantage against the rest of them.
