"WHY ARE YOU SO EXCITED ABOUT A MONDAY?" Julie asked as she let her head hit the lunch table, her eyes drooped. Guy shrugged happily, jotting down his homework quickly. Charlie raised his eyebrow as Luis smirked. "Already over Connie, I see?" he joked. Connie slapped his arm and rolled her eyes. "I'm sure it's not about a girl, Luis," she said.
Suddenly, Guy felt a bit guilty. Would moving on this fast make him seem like a whore? He nodded awkwardly as a bubble of guilt formed inside of him as he tried his best to ignore it.
Naomi sat at the same table with two other girls, along with Naliyah. They laughed and talked as she leaned against the table, picking at her skin. She watched Selena reapply a whole face of makeup as her minions did the same. She felt a bit jealous, but who wouldn't? Selena had everything a girl could ask for.
Mimi smiled as one of her other new friends, Sophie; a Hispanic girl who was very spiritual and liked wearing colorful colors and had a bunch of bracelets along with clear glasses, made a joke about the history teacher who had a gruff voice and a full mustache....but was a female. "That bitch gave me eleven assignments this morning. I hate her." Naliayh complained. Luckily, mimi didn't have her until the next semester.
"Sounds bad. Anyway, I'm gonna head to the library," she said as she said goodbye to her friends and walked to the library, her boots clicking on the hard floor as she walked. Her bangs fell in front of her face as she grasped onto her library pass and kept on walking.
She walked into the library and happily met with the quietness of it as she walked up to the front desk and handed them her library pass, smiling as she returned her book and started to look for more.
The guy with shaggy blonde hair appeared in another aisle, his cheeks seeming to turn red as he saw her. A smile tugged on her lips as she tried to hide it, turning her back to him. Guy sighed as he saw her. This was his chance.
"Hey, Naomi Miriam, right?" he asked. Mimi tensed up. How did he know her name? "Um, yeah.' she responded quietly. "I'm Guy Germaine, a friend of Adam Banks and Naliyah Jackson," he said, trying to mention people she recognized. "Oh, yeah! I saw you yesterday," she said, nodding.
"I know this is weird - me coming up to you all of a sudden, but I- I think you're really pretty," he said, stuttering out of nervousness.
Mimi blushed. "Thanks, same to you," she responded. "I don't accept flirting in here!" the librarian yelled making the two teens flinch. The two laughed as they talked more quietly this time, the bell soon ringing.

Vivian, on the other hand, slowly ate her french fries as her friends talked about how much boys were after them. She self-consciously wrapped her arms around herself, listening. "Then we made out! It was amazing." Lydia said. Vivi internally cringed as thoughts of her not having her first kiss filled her mind. Was something wrong with her? "So, Vivi, did your parents agree on the new york city themed bar mitzvah? They should, you guys are rich after all."
Vivian nodded. Luckily, her parents did, they just reminded her about a thousand times to not get too ahead of herself. If she made any bad mistake, they wouldn't let her of a new york city-themed one. Lydia squealed, "You have to invite Conner!"
Vivi scrunched her nose. "...why?" she asked dryly. "Because he totally likes you!" Lydia said in a 'duh' tone. Vivian rolled her eyes. She wished. "He doesn't. We just sit together in math class, so what?" "He also asks you for a pencil every day!"
"Because he's dumb."
Lydia rolled her eyes. "You have to do this. For me? I'm dating Marcos and he and Connor are best friends, so unless you don't want to have cute little double dates, then you don't have to."
A lump formed in Vivian's throat. She hated how her own best friend was forcing this onto her. Ever since the two became popular, she'd been obsessed with being cool. "Even if I do, my parents wouldn't let me." she just kept on making excuses along the way.
Lydia smirked. "Who said you had to tell your parents?" The rest of the table squealed and giggled as Vivian started to heavily breath. "I just don't want to, okay! Stop forcing this stupid crap onto me!" Vivian finally broke and screamed, her voice echoing through the cafeteria as everybody turned their heads to look at what was happening. Lydia's face dropped as she crossed her arms.
"Well - you could've just told me that," she said. "I did! A thousand times! You just never listen to me!" with that Vivian stormed out of the cafeteria, anger fuming inside her.
