Chapter Three Recap
"You asked me what I meant when I told you we were cosmically fated."

"You don't have to tell me now if you don't want to."

"That's the thing, Johnny, that's just it, I do want to tell you, I honestly owe you that information."

"So, tell me. I'm not going anywhere." I saw her spirits seem to lift a little.
"Promise you will always really love me, and not just because of some cosmic tie?" She looked into my eyes.

"I promise, you have my word. I love you, more than I have ever loved anyone or anything." I kissed her passionately, and she kissed me back right away.

"I love you too Johnny Storm!" She whispers as we lean our foreheads against the others.

Flashback
"Come on, stay with me! Wake up. I can't lose you!" The last thing I remember was being tackled to the ground and this piercing-like pain. I swore I wasn't going to come out of this alive but the next thing I knew was hearing my twin brother Kayson trying to wake me and the sound of a steady beeping on a blood pressure monitor.
I slowly flicker open my eyes to see Kayson and wait... is that Thor?

"I am definitely losing it," I mumble.

"Blakeleigh, you're awake! Do you remember anything about what happened in the woods?" It all started rushing back. I was attacked by what appeared to be a wolf but at the same time, it didn't quite look like a normal wolf.

Johnny's Point of View- Present Time
It was currently 4:30 in the morning and I could hear whimpering coming from Blakeleigh's room. She sounded a bit distraught so I decided to go and check on her and see if she was alright. I walked into her room, I could tell she was having a nightmare. I lie down beside her wrap my arm around her pull her close and run my fingers through her hair. That seemed to soothe her so I let myself drift off to sleep beside her. Hours later I wake up and smile when she snuggles into me.

"Morning sunshine." She smiles as she wakes up. "My nightmares don't usually end that quick, to my surprise, they do as long as you come in and pull me in your arms."

"Good morning beautiful. You wanna talk about it?"

"It was one of the usual, flashbacks from my past that always seem to haunt me." I don't know her whole story but what I do know is she must have been through a lot in her life.

"Blakeleigh, there is someone here to see you," Reed says at her door.

"Go on. We can get breakfast afterwards." She gets dressed and goes downstairs.

"NO! There can't be any way! You're supposed to be in jail!"

Blakeleigh's Point of View
"NO! There can't be any way! You're supposed to be in jail!" I take a deep breath.

"Well, you know sweetheart, I have my ways." 

"Well, good fucking luck hurting me this time! One, I'm not alone, second," I shift into my wolf form and attack.

"Didn't think I wouldn't come prepared sweetheart? How do you think you got your powers in the first place?" My pulse quickened at his words as I mind linked with Johnny. 'Johnny, get the others! We have serious trouble.' I wasn't quick enough as I was pricked with a needle filled with wolfsbane, screaming in pain.

"Blakeleigh!" I heard Kayson yell also feeling my heart tear in two, hearing Johnny also screaming in pain. That's one thing I didn't like about the mate situation, was that he could feel my pain.

"Johnny, what's going on?" I heard Ben ask.

"I don't know, it's almost like I can feel her pain."

"Ben, Susan, take care of our guest, Kayson help me get Blakeleigh and Johnny to the lab."

Third-Person Point of View
"Kayson, can you tell me anything about this guy, or what he injected her with?" Reed asked as he set up IVs for Blakeleigh and Johnny after running scans.

"As for who that guy was, that douchebag was her ex, he was very possessive and extremely abusive so no surprise when she left him. What he injected her with is wolfsbane. Probably one of the only things that can truly harm her. Also, Johnny doesn't need it. He's not being directly affected."

"You couldn't have told him before he stuck me?" Johnny groans.
After Reed filters out the wolfsbane out of Blakeleigh's system he, Johnny, and Blakeleigh head back to help.

"Always had a thing for drugging me. Pathetic. Also, I told you I'm not alone! Reed, get the wolfsbane away from him, Ben, Sue, distract him, and Johnny, fry him!"

Sue's Point of View
I saw the look that Kayson had on his face when Blakeleigh mentioned what the guy had done. It was a protective brother look it's the same look that I've seen Johnny have. I could also hear the hurt in Blakeleigh's voice when addressing the guy. I could also see the anger on Johnny's face. One I see on Reed sometimes. I don't know Blakeleigh and Kayson's story but I do know it had to be big.

Johnny's Point of View- hours later
"What did that guy mean when he asked you how you think you got your powers?" I sit by Blakeleigh.

"He must've been the werewolf who attacked me and bit me two years ago." She was staring at the floor. "I thought he was locked away in prison and I would never see him again. I thought that was over. I'm glad y'all were able to get him locked away in The Vault."

"I'm glad you were here with us when it all went down."  I rubbed her back soothingly. "Who is he? What did he do and what's y'all's story, you and Kayson?"

"His name is Jayk, he was one of my brother's friends who I ended up dating for a while until he started getting possessive and abusive. After he was arrested Kayson and I moved away from the hometown we grew up in and to here in New York. Our parents died when Kayson and I were only nine years old and our older brother took care of us until we were old enough to take care of ourselves. Jayk started out a pretty great guy but became very abusive when I told him I didn't want to sleep with him that's when he would drug me and rape me while I was unconscious."

Blakeleigh's Point of View
I could feel the heartache, the sorrow, Johnny felt after hearing my story. I knew that I would have PTSD from all that happened back then, I never thought I would see Jayk's face again and re-living what felt like a nightmare. I could never wish what he put me through on anyone. If only I knew back then what I know now I would never have given him a chance in the first place. That was all in the past now so I couldn't do anything about it. That was my life now.
