TICK TICK TICK

The clock sounds from the wall.

"It all started a few months ago."

"When specifically, if you remember."

It's hard to tell. It's hard to tell the days apart. Nothing really changes it just goes by. The days pass by in a flash and she can't really differentiate dreams from reality.
She can't distinguish the conversations she has in her head to the ones she has outside.

"Around three months ago. I believe."

"Have people been bothering you at school?"

Yes.

"No."

"Has Rose done or said something. Push you to far."

Yes.

"No."

"Her kids?"

Yes.

"No."

"Addy if someone has been bothering you I need you to tell me so I can fix it."

Everyone bothers Addy. They tease and judge. They laugh and whisper. They push and shove.

Don't you dare tell her.
She doesn't deserve the truth.
She'll use it against you.

"No one has been bothering me, they just moved back in. They like it in my head. They find it safe you know."

She wanted to yell. Scream at the top of her lungs. Tell Kalyna what was going on but they stopped her. They didn't like her telling people about them. They got angry if she did.
When they got angry they make her do bad things.

"Addy-

SQUEAK

"Dr.Nordoack, your next appointment is here."

"Thank you Sienna. Tell them I'll be right with them."

Sienna nods and walks out, closing the door behind her.

CLACK

"Addy, if you ever need me I'm just a phone call away, alright?"

"Mhm."

SQUEAK

Addy walked out quickly to Rose's car, shutting the passenger door gently.

CLICK

"How was your appointment Addy?"

"It was fine."

"Did she give you any exercises to work on?"

"No."

"Alright."

Silence. Loud, empty silence. Addy didn't mind the silence, in fact she preferred it over the small talk. Addy found small talk useless, but for some reason people liked it.

As soon as Rose parked in the garage Addy got out walked in the house and locked herself in her room until Monday morning.
