Finally last episode of season one!
(Robin's POV)
We started walking in. Rick, Shane, Daryl, and a couple others have their guns out.
"Hello? Hello? "
Rick says.
"Close those doors. Watch for walkers" someone says. A gun cocks. "Anybody infected?" A man says. "One of our group was, he didn't make it" Rick responds. "What are you here?what do you want?" The man says. "A chance" Rick says. "That's asking an awful lot these days" the man says. "I know." Rick says. A silence fills the place. "You all submit to a blood test. That's the price of admission." The man says. "We can do that" Rick says. Damn it Rick! "You got stuff to bring in you do it now. Once this door closes it stays closed. " the man says. Everyone gets their stuff. Luckily I have my dog and my bag with me. "VI seal the main entrance. Kill the power up here." The man says. VI is probably an AI or the building or something like that. "Rick Grimes" Rick says. "Dr.Edwin Jenner" the man says. We get in an elevator. I'm squished in between Dale and Lori. "Doctors always go around packing heat like that?" Daryl says. "There were plenty left lying around. I familiarized myself. " Dr. Jenner says. "But you look harmless enough. "He says. " Except you two, I'll have to keep my eye on you" he says talking about me and Carl. "Are we underground?" Carol asks. "Are you claustrophobic?" Dr. Jenner asks. "A little" Carol says. "Try not to think about it" Jenner says. Wow great advice maybe biters won't be around if we don't think about them. "VI bring up the lights in the big room." Jenner says. "Welcome to zone 5" he says. "Where is everybody?" Rick asks. "The other doctors,  the staff? " he continues. "I'm it" Jenner responds. "It's just me here" he continues. "What about the person you were speaking with? " Lori asks."VI?" She says. "VI say hello to our guests. Tell them.... Welcome. " "hello, guests. Welcome. " a robotic voice says. "I'm all that's left" Jenner says. "I'm sorry. " he says. I get to go before Andrea. Hooray. I get really nervous. Shoot! It's my turn. I walk up slowly and nervously. He takes my blood. It hurts a lot. When he's done I get up and start walking back. I feel light headed and stumble a bit but catch myself. Jenner is too busy taking blood from Andrea. They start talking about why he's doing the blood tests. Andrea also stumbles but not as much as I did. "You okay?" He asks. "She hasn't eaten in days" Jaqcui says. "None of us have" she continued. A bit later we are sitting at a table. Everyone is having a good time. I haven't eaten yet.Toby is sitting next to me but on the floor. "You know in Italy children have a little bit of wine with dinner. And in France." Dale says. "Well when Carl's in Italy or France he can have some then." Lori says. "What's it gonna hurt? Come on" Rick says. Lori is bribed. Carl drinks some. "EW!" Carl says. The adults laugh. "That's my boy. That's my boy. " Lori says. Everyone turns to me. Oh god. They hand me a glass. I drink some. It's not that bad. Everyone looks at me with a 'so how is it?' Look. "It's not good but it's not bad." I say. "Well just stick to the soda pop there" Shane says to me and Carl.Glenn looks at me. "Why haven't you eaten your food?" He asks. "It could be poisoned for all we know." He laughs. "Don't be ridiculous" he says. "I'm not taking any chances." I say.
(Time skip)
I chose a room for myself and Toby. "Don't you have parents?" Jenner asks. I shake my head no. He leaves. I shower really quick. I look different. My hair is longer. I don't look like I used to. Something in my eyes changed. I go to the rec room with Carl and Sophia. Carol is with us reading a book. I watch Carl and Sophia play checkers. I look at the books. My face lights up. They have percy jackson and harry Potter books. I finished the fifth harry Potter book before the apocalypse. I grab the sixth and seventh books. I also grab the percy jackson books I stuff them into my book bag. They have the percy jackson and the olympians series and the heroes of olympus series. I stuff them into my book bag. I leave to go to my room. Toby follows.
(Time skip to morning)
I'm sitting at the table eating. I was suspicious of the food at first but my hunger got to me. We head to zone five. Jenner shows us what happens when we turn. I lose interest quickly. A while later I'm in my room with Toby laying on my legs. His head is on my stomach. I'm reading the first Percy Jackson book ignoring the ruckus outside. I hear that no one is outside anymore. I hear Rick yelling and an alarm blare. I walk out of my room to head to the main room. I see the metal blocking the door. I hear everyone yelling. I hear an axe hitting the metal. After a while the metal opens. Jaqcui is staying. I have my book bag and other bags and start running with Toby. I don't know what is happening. I head to the entrance. The glass is bulletproof. I yell at Rick "Rick the grenades from the tank!" I toss him one. The glass breaks when the grenade goes off. Toby and I are okay. We run out. I get into the RV. Everything seems to go in slow motion. My head starts pounding and I feel light headed. Everyone looks at the remains of the CDC. Rick starts driving. A song plays in my head.
