The next day, I wake up and get ready for the day. I grab my electric guitar and plug it into the amp.

I mess with it for a bit, making weird songs. Soon, I'm just playing Rises the Moon by Liana Flores.

It's like a comfort song. It soothes me. I ignore all the sounds except for my guitar and it feels like the world is a blur.

Once I finish the song, everything goes back to normal and I hear someone.
"Wow."
It doesn't sound like Mabel..
I look up and see a short teenage girl, about my age probably, leaning against the door frame, smiling softly. She has long black hair, reaching down to her back, and green eyes. She has a light purple dress on.
Wait a minute, isn't that Candy?
"Err, Candy?" I ask.
"Yep! I found out you guys were here and wanted to reunite with you two." She has a warm tint of red on her cheeks. I guess she's really happy.
"Oh, ok. Cool." I smile and she hugs me. Her watch goes off then she walks back to where she was leaning.
"Uh, I have to go. I have flute practice.." She sighs and exits the room.

That was quick.. I wish I could've met with her longer.
..In a friend way...

I shrug and put my instrument away before walking downstairs to get food. Mabel grins at me, her eyebrows going up and down.

I grab a bowl.
"What?" I ask.
"I heard Candy really wanted to talk to ya." She giggles.
"Mabel, we're just friends. Calm down." I sigh, palming my forehead. Now that I think about it, are we even friends in general?
I grab some cereal and milk and put them into my bowl.
"But Candy was blushing, like, crazy when she left?"
"She was probably happy."
"Yeah, happy to see you."
"Mabel, stop pushing it. We're just friends. That's it. Okay?"
"Okayy, finee."

I finish my cereal soon and look at the wall.
Why can't I stop thinking of her?
I groan.
"You okay, Dip?" Mabel asks.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, my bad. Uh, listen, I'm gonna.. go. Bye!" I get up and go to my room, flopping onto my bed.

What is wrong with me?
We're just friends.
Just.
Friends.

I try to take my mind off of.. her. She's so pretty.
In a platonic way.. I think.
I put my arms behind my head and try to fall asleep. I shut my eyes closed and breath calmly.

This time, my dream is.. different

I'm playing my guitar, a peaceful song being played, yet.. someone else is playing something too.
It's sounds like..

A flute?
