BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

why did I bring my alarm with me...

I wake up and slam my hand on the alarm repeatedly before opening my eyes to shut it off, groaning.

What was that..

I remember some of my dream. I usually have dreams with only guitar, or drum or something..
Why was there a flute in there?

It's weird. But I don't mind it--I don't always like listening to the same thing every night. Sometimes I need something new. But it's weird. I feel like when I saw the flute, I saw another pair of hands playing it. Much more girly ones. Weird. Never had other people in my dreams.. Well, I have, but I've never had hidden people in my dreams.

I yawn and stretch out before getting up from my bed and changing into different clothes. I just threw on a hoodie and shorts.

I walk downstairs and see that Candy came over again to hang out with Mabel. She was eating cereal and Mabel was eating the same thing. I see Candy staring at me and I smile at her, making her giggle and quickly look away. Cute..

Wait, what? No, don't even start it, I did not say cute.

I go towards the freezer and grab a frozen waffle, putting it in the microwave.
"Hey Dipper, come sit with us!" Mabel says, grinning.
"Yeah, sure." I wait for my food to be done and once it is I put syrup on it and go to the table where Candy and Mabel are at. I see Candy turn red.
"Candy? Are you okay?" I ask. She turns more red somehow.
"Y-yeah! I'm fine. Why?" She replies. I hum and feel her cheeks with my hand. She's hot. Wait NOT LIKE THAT!

"you're burning up, Candy. Are you sure you're okay?" I give her my concern and she chuckles.
"Yes, I'm fine. T-thanks, though." She grabs my hand before turning red,"w-well! Gotta go! Flute practice.. heh.."
"But it's morning?" Mabel says.
"Oh, you know, strict schedules.. heheh.." Candy awkwardly smiles before running out.

Mabel and I look at each other before chuckling.
"Well that was weird." I smile at her and she smiles back.
"That's just Candy, being her shy self." Mabel informs.

Now that I think about it--Did Candy say flute? That was the instrument in my dream..
Hm.
Eh, I won't overthink it. We're just friends, anyway.

I finish my food and so does Mabel. I take Candy's bowl and clean it out. I see Mabel, looking at me with a smug grin.
"What? What is it?" I ask, puzzled.
"Oh nothing. Just that you and Candy totally like each other." Mabel teases.
"We're just friends." I chuckle.
She groans.
"We're just friends, even though we totally love each other but are too shy to face it" she mocks us with a tiny, almost squeezed-sounding voice.
"Okay, Mabel."
She giggles and runs up to her room.
That girl is weird sometimes. Maybe it runs in the family.
