Walking back to her compartment she past many others filled with laughing children, she felt a little out of place based off her age but she hoped she could blend in well. Opening the door to the compartment she walked through throwing her purse on the seat and lazily sitting down next to it.

"You don't have your house robes on." Snape told the girl. "I know, I don't have a house yet. I'm a transfer student." Charlotte explained to the man. "Ah you're the one I was told about." Snape folded his newspaper. "Hopefully all good things." She smirked playing with her fingers. "I'm supposed to escort you to the headmasters office while the other students are being brought to the great hall." Snape informed the girl of her house sorting plans. "Oh! What a coincadink." Charlotte chuckled. Looking up at the man he raised a brow signaling that he had no idea what she meant. "Coincadink you know, coincidence." The man hummed sounding irritated.

The silence was loud, at least to Charlotte, Snape was not affected, being used the the silence. Luckily the train wasn't too far away from Hogwarts when she got back from the bathroom, and the hissing of the of the train stopping broke the silence. "Follow me, we need to get to the headmasters office as quickly as possible." Standing up Snape started out the compartment, Charlotte grabbed her bag quickly and followed behind him.

Snape didn't need to tell a single student to move as they automatically moved out of the way clearing a path off the train. Most students that know of Snape's punishments felt bad for the girl thinking she was in trouble.

The walk to the office was quite a long one and at Snape's pace Charlotte had a slight amount of sweat on her forehead. Snape whispered something and the the gargoyle started to move revealing a staircase, walking up the stairs Charlotte kept looking around.

Stopping in front a wooden stool in front of a wooded desk. "Sit." Looking over at Snape she slowly walked over the the stood and sat down fixing her skirt. Waiting for the headmaster she looked around the room analyzing the decor and the trinkets, her fingers also hooking, pulling, and popping each other.

Soon the headmaster came in and with him was an older lady, she had a serious look and was very formal. That lady held a old tattered brown hat, she walked next to you as the headmaster walked around the desk and sat down on his chair.

"Minerva." He said, signaling to the woman to place the hat upon the girls head. Upon impact against the top of her head the hat woke, it went through her memories like files, looking at her intentions when doing anything, her dreams, what type of people that would help with those dreams or help her mature.

"Better be...SLYTHERIN!" The hat yelled out. Minerva pulled the hat off and left. Her tie and robes changed to green and silver colors. "Wonderful!" The headmaster congratulated looking over his half moon glasses. "Your head of house will be Severus here. He will escort you to the hall and to which table you sit at." Lifting his hand he gestured to Snape. Charlotte jumped off the stool following the Professor out.

"Looks like your stuck with me." She smiled up at him, he rolled his eyes. "Unfortunately." This made Charlotte chuckle.

The walk was quier and they arrived at the hall, Snape told her about the expectations of the Slytherin house. Pushing the doors open Snape held the open for the girl, walking through her pointed out which table she would sit at. The headmaster was already sat at his spot at the table which surprised Charlotte.

Draco spotted Charlotte walking in and waved his hand. She spotted it and walked over. "This is Charlotte we met at a bookstore." She waved to the kids sitting near him, he turned to her. "I knew you'd get in the best house." She sat down next to him. "Shouldn't you be around people that actually like you." A girl with black hair just above her shoulder. "Probably but there's most likely not many of those people here." Charlotte chuckled.

"Pansy stop being mean to our friends." Draco scolded the girl. She turned bright red in both anger and because of embarrassment. "No it's okay, she wasn't being mean. Only asking a question." Charlotte defended her waving her hands in front of her. "Whatever you say." Draco took a sip of his drink.

Dumbledore made a few announcements and the first years were sorted just like she were not even thirty minutes ago.

After the dinner the group showed Charlotte how to get to the common room and where everything was. She walked up the stairs with Pansy and Astoria. The two other girls shared a dorm so they left Charlotte alone in the hallway, continuing her walk she came upon a door with a gold plate having only her name.

She opened the door and found only one bed, one dresser, one desk. Charlotte was extremely surprised, but in a good way continuing into her room there's a not on the desk. Grabbing it, it was from Dumbledore.

Dear Charlotte,

Since you are older than all the other girls in your and we've already done the bedding charts we decided on giving you your own room.

Use it wisely,
                       Dumbledore

Placing the letter back on the desk along with her purse she removed her clothes. Left in her underwear and bra she set an alarm on her wand and flopped on the bed, falling asleep immediately.

The first day of classes went by smoothly until her favorite class, potions, sadly her best class is magical beasts though. Charlotte spent most of her time at Ilvermorny and even at home reading books about potions and how they work.

She sat next to a boy with ginger hair, he was tall and had a mischievous glint in his eyes. He looked almost identical to another boy who was sat on the other side of the classroom.

"Hi, I'm George." His hand was extended forwards at Charlotte. "Hey." She shook his hand back for an awkward amount of time, he had an expecting look. "Oh! Uh my names Charlotte." She smiled and their hands parted. "Over there is my brother Fred." George pointed to the boy across the room.

"I kinda guessed that, you both look identical." Charlotte chuckled. The door open and Snape walked in, slamming the door shut. He started in expectations and rules of the classroom.

"I don't think I've ever met a nice Slytherin." George whispered, "all the rest are super gloomy all the time like old Snapey here." Charlotte smiled wider than she was before, this pushed George to keep going. "Like vampire's, you know the creatures that are all like, 'blah, blah, blah.'" When saying the last part he moved his hand into claws and shook them at the words.

Charlotte bursted out laughing interrupting Snape in the middle of talking about the rules. "Is something funny Ms. Bren?" He asked raising one eyebrow. Stifling her laugh she tried to answer him "N-no s-" George reiterated the 'blah, blah, blah' under his breath causing Charlotte to start laughing again.

"How 'bout you laugh it out in nighttime detention." That made her stop laughing, looking up to the professor, his eyes dared her to say something against him. She looked down at her desk and Snape continued. She smacked George on the arm.
