I pull up to a random hotel. I head to the front desk.
"Do you guys have any rooms available?" I ask softly. The lady looks at me and sees my tear-stained face.
"Yes we do honey," she says gently. "Can I see your ID, my dear?" I nod handing her my ID as she inputs information into the computer. "We will give you the king suite, my dear." I hand her my card as she puts the information in and hands me keys and a card. I smile heading out to my car grabbing my suitcases bringing them to my door. I open my room gasping at how beautiful it is. I walk in unpacking my suitcases. I sit on the bed looking at my phone to multiple missed calls and a bunch of texts.
13 missed calls from Tony 14 missed calls from Nat 22 missed calls from Baby 24 missed calls from Steve
I sigh softly putting my phone on the charger. I start to unpack my bathroom stuff grabbing a pair of pajamas going in the bathroom putting them on. I put my dirty clothes in the basket that says laundry.

I throw my hair up in a messy bun before crawling into the bed and logging into Netflix on the TV. I yawn as I turn on Grey's Anatomy.

I wake up with a jolt not even realizing that I fell asleep. I stretch looking around not knowing what to do. My phone starts to ring making me jump. I pick it up as Nat's caller ID flashes across my screen. I sigh softly rolling my eyes. I decided to answer so they'd leave me alone.
"Oh my god! Liz!" Nat yells in my ear. Suddenly I heard multiple voices yell my name.
"Nat, I'm fine, please stop calling me!" I say softly.
"Where are you? We're-," Nat says before she is cut off by someone grabbing the phone.
"Babygirl," I hear Bucky's broken voice break through the phone and it takes everything in me not to break down sobbing.
"Bucky," I mumble softly but I know he heard me.
"Please come back, baby! I can't live without you!" Bucky says between sobs. "Even Tony wants you back." I'm going to be honest hearing Tony's name right now infuriated me.
"Bucky I am not coming back!" I snap.
"You know what?!" Bucky yells at me and I flinch closing my eyes and holding back tears.
"Bucky!" I hear Steve say. I can hear Steve trying to intervene but Bucky doesn't let him.
"I hate you! I never want to see you again!" Bucky yells. A sob escapes my lips as soon as he ends the call. I collapsed on my stomach as a sob wrenched through my body. I hated Tony with all my heart. My heart felt empty.

I don't know how long it's been or what day it was. A knock on the door startles me and I get up answering it and seeing the front desk lady who checked me in. She takes one look at me and walks in wrapping her arms around me as I sob into her arms.
"It's okay honey," she says softly.
"I love him, I still love him," I say sobbing into her chest.
"I know sweetie," she whispers rubbing my back. "Let's get you cleaned up." She helps me to my feet taking me to the bathroom. She starts a bath for me. "Get cleaned up my dear and then you should eat something." I nod as she leaves shutting the bathroom door. I get undressed and get in the tub cleaning up. I don't know how long I sat there when I finally decided to get out. I dry off wrapping myself into a robe. I walk out to see her sitting at the table with food. I sit across from her eating slowly not really hungry.
"Thank you," I say softly.
"Honey it's been two weeks you should head home," she says as she finishes up. I sigh softly knowing she is right as she leaves. I start to pack my stuff up getting on pajamas. Tomorrow will be the day I'm going back to the compound. I lay down before texting Nat.
Me: I'm coming back tomorrow is there anyway you can keep it a secret? Nat: You know I can. Just text me when your on your way. By the way, I'd steer clear of Bucky. He hates you. Me: Okay, I will.
Of course Bucky hates me but I was gonna do what Nat says, I was gonna steer clear of Bucky and Tony.

The next day I wake up getting myself ready. I grab my suitcases heading down to the front desk. I smile as its the same lady. She grins when she sees it's me.
"I'm happy you decided to go home," she says. I looked at her name tag seeing the name Kim.
"Thank you for everything Kim," I say softly. She nods as I hand her my keys. I put my suitcases in my trunk. I hop in the driver's seat before texting Nat again.
Me: I'm on my way home. Be home in about 20 minutes depending on the traffic. Nat: Okay love. See you soon.
I start to drive home. I take a deep breath as I pull into a parking spot. Steve and Nat were talking or even yelling, I wouldn't know, but they stopped when they saw my car. Steve rushes over. And as soon as I got out of the car he wraps me into a hug.
"Never disappear like that again," Steve says softly. I nod looking at him. Nat walks over and shoves me hard.
"What the hell, Elizabeth?! You wrecked Bucky!!" she yells at me. I open my mouth to say something but I stop as I see someone.
