I was so screwed. Mason was here against us, and I couldn't tell anyone or do anything about it. A knock on my bedroom door startles me. I look up just in time for Mason to enter my room. My heart starts racing as I see the look on his face.

"Hey baby girl," Mason says as he shuts the door behind him. I gulped, looking at him. "Ready to know what the mission is?" No

"No," I say. Suddenly, Mason grabs me by my throat, slamming me onto the bed.

"You're going to carry this mission out for me and come with me," Mason hisses in my ear. I nod quickly as he lets me go getting off of me. "You're gonna break into Steve's office and get all the files on the computer onto this hard drive."

I sit up as Mason hands me the hard drive. I take it, my hands shaking as he walks to the door.

"I need it by the end week or you will be dead," Mason threatens, leaving my room. I sit on my bed shaking. I don't know how to pull this off at all. I get up and walk out of my room, looking around and making sure no one is around, I quickly walk to Steve's office, trying to open the door. I sigh as it is locked, noticing the number pad.

"Liz?" I hear Steve say from behind me. I quickly shove the hard drive in my pocket, turning around to look at Steve.

"Hi, Steve," I say. Steve looks at me with a suspicious look.

"What were you doing? Are you trying to break into my office?" Steve says, looking at me in anger. I racked my brain, trying to think of ways to make him believe me.

"No! I just thought you were in there!" I say. Steve relaxes.

"What's up?" he asks. I look at him debating whether I should tell him the truth or not. I sigh, sliding the flash drive in my back pocket.

"I was wondering if you could train with me," I say, completely forgetting that Bruce didn't clear me yet. Steve raises an eyebrow.

"You aren't clear yet, Kid," Steve says.

"Oh right," I say. Steve moves to unlock his door, but he blocks the number, or so he thinks he did. 1917. I should have figured it was something like that. It was Bucky's birth year, speaking of Bucky. I could tell him about Mason. I leave on a hunt to find Bucky. I knocked on his bedroom door but got no response. I walk around the compound, looking for him when I am suddenly grabbed from behind. An arm wraps around my waist and a hand clamps on my mouth, and I'm pulled into a dark room. I hear tapping on the panel, and the light flickers on. I'm released, and I yank myself away from the person turning around as I slam into the bookshelf.

In front of me stood Steve, Bucky, and Tony. Steve raises his hand, and I realize he's holding something in his hand. My hand immediately flies back to my back pocket, and I realized that Steve has the flash drive. Anger was spread across their faces.

"So this is why you were trying to get into my office? You were trying to get all my files?" Steve asks. Bucky and Tony look at me as I sigh. I looked at Bucky and noticed that he was scanning me.

"Steve, she was put it up to it," Bucky says. Tony raises his finger to his lips, signaling us to be quiet. We watched as he sound proofed the room.

"Now, what's going on, Liz?" Steve says.

"Mason, he wants me to download all your files," I say softly. "He said if I didn't he would kill me."

"He won't do anything like that," Tony says before storming out of the room and Steve follows him. Bucky looks at me before walking towards me and cups his hands on my face.

"Next time let me know, I will help you," he whispers. I look up at him as my breath slows down from the panic.

"I was scared," I say as I chew on my lip softly. Bucky shakes his head before he brushes his thumb on my lower lip.

"Babygirl, I still love you and I'm gonna protect no matter what happens between us," he mumbles.

"I love you too," I say. Bucky smiles before leaning in pressing his lips to mine. I close my eyes, dragging my fingers through his hand, slowly kissing him back. Bucky pulls me closer as he pulls away, wrapping me in his arms. I smile before hugging me back.

"Come back to me, Doll," Bucky says. Even after everything I have said him to when we broke up, what I called him and the damage I did to him, he wants me back.

"But what I said to you-," I start to say but Bucky interrupts me.

"That doesn't matter anymore. I don't care about that. All I want is for you and I to be together again, I miss us," Bucky says.

"I miss us too," I say back.

"Then be my girlfriend again," Bucky says.

"I'm yours, Bucky," I say softly.
